I suppose I had a pretty average child hood , loving parents , good friends and everything was fine until I hit the age of 12..

And suddenly BOOM.you have to move into the real world and the magical world of puberty , no cushy teachers to beckon to your every need , you have to move to a gigantic new school and you actually feel like a tadpole in a pond full of fish , new friends to make which to be honest isn't my strongest subject..ohh and one other thing you develop these puss filled things all over your face more commonly called spots...

First day of secondary school comes around and you get dressed with the sickening lump at the back of your throat , thinking I think I actually might die today , your parents fuss all over you insisting to take photos of you 'all grown up' and your just like no mum. You eventually get to your first classroom and you see all the different faces and it suddenly hits you ...

You are going to have to spend the next 5 years with these weirdos..

This was exactly what it was like for me , I wasn't exactly the prettiest year 7 , picture this: long brown greasy hair , retainer , hair usually done up with weird flower clip , glasses ,spots..oh and I was still going through my emo phase then?!

I know what your thinking , Fit right?!

The first day was here and gone and I had made several new friends one including ebony , she was a small girl with dirty blonde hair cut rather flatteringly(Note sarcasm)and a distinctive gap between her teeth .

Oh and of course I had my friend who I moved from my primary with , hmm let's call her Tits well because hers were ahem rather large and to be honest she was one the majority of the time...

And finally I had the girl who I had spent my entire childhood with and now it was so weird she had moved house and we were starting to drift apart...See I had met Kaya when i was 3 and she was 4 I first looked through her garden fence and her mum asked me if I was alright I timidly replied and I asked Kaya if she wanted to play , and well it kinda backfired and she said no.. Finally she accepted and well the rest is history to be honest.

Anyway eyes on the prize Jenna stop straying , your going off task god dammit and now your talking to yourself.... Sheeeesh!

After the first day I layed bed and thought that wasn't that bad and secondly I wish my dog would stop snoring, anyway that's irrelevant....

During the course of year 7 , we had many a good time in our form room at break and lunch for example once we recorded one of the boys trying to do there best impression of Louis spence , the boys name quite fittingly being Louis . Lets just say in first year I was rather loud or in less polite terms I had a gob on me..

Quite often being told to quieten down by the teachers in the opposite classroom .

Many other antics involved Ebony bringing in a camera and we used to take lots of pointless photos of all if us , we were so cool , we were absolutely not! Some of these model esc shots included : The human pyramid(this was not a good idea) underneath tables and generally just messing around..Ahhh it's nice looking back on memories...oh and mainly me doing weird faces and generally me eating ham wraps , I had a rather fondness for then back them.

One of the best memories in year 7 would of have to been me and my friends used tootle off to the ladies and reapply all of our makeup some of these expert brands encluded : mascara out of a magazine , now looking back proboly made all of my eyelashes fall out and no make up would be complete with pastel blue eyeshadow courtesy of ebony..

Damn we were fighting dem boys off!

Year 7 was full of exciting new friends and things to do , although I enjoyed lessons , I know I was a boffin ! I enjoyed our break and lunches the most we used to have Oreo lick races it's sounds dirty but it wasn't to our little 11 year old selves...

If you don't know what an Oreo I would like to know what planner you have been living on for the past years..Is it habitable for humans?basically it's a biscuit filled with cream and what you had to do in the Oreo championships was to get rid of all of the Oreo cream without using your teeth! Ohh yes we were that amused by how fast you could eat a cream filled biscuit...

Right were bringing out the big guns now...year 7 our hormones are flying everywhere and we ahh started to umm get ahh little interested in the ahem opposite sex...and all of our crushes were formed on the basis of code names , I mean come on you can't talk about a certain boy if he's right beside you?so we had code names that every girl knew who we were talking about , like girly morse code if you like..?!

So the names included you ready for this?:Chip , mustard , moth , flicka , puppy , purple socks , Mcflurry that's about it really?ohh ha ha and we can't forget curly who I have only just remembered , looking at him now I really , really don't know what we were thinking ! At least I can blame it on my glasses being faulty , ohh thank you lord for my genetically bad eyes...

The code names had no apparent relevance to the boys themselves and to be honest by the end of year 7 most of the boys knew which ones they were anyway....

"Come to the field with me?" The pleading little voice of our wee ebony still rings in my ears today's

"I really can't be bothered"I replied with a slight lisp , damn that cursed retainer...

"Please , Flickas out there.."the desperation within ebony's voice was to much and I think I finally gave in.

As I begrudgingly made my way on to the field I felt like I was being watched by 1000 eyes all at the same time...over exaggerating I hear you scream well maybe a tiny bit , but come on it was my first year at secondary school and the populars gaze would be enough to piece through your flesh and into the deepest depths of your soul...

For you people who haven't been to secondary school or pretty much make friends with any one and you are thinking in your tiny little head what is a popular..?Well to be honest it's pretty self explanatory a popular if a person who is believed to be more popular or higher than most people , I think every school has them to be honest!
