New Years

New Years. Everyone know the tradition. You sit there with you friends and loved ones waiting for the ball to drop while you get either get drunk or talk about how the year went by with some person who's willing to talk to you. So that's what the twins wanted to do. It was both their idea to invite their best friend over to celebrate New Years. And, having nothing better to do, the friend gladly accepted the two girls' request.

"I'm so excited!! Just two more minutes until the new year starts and I'll be able to kiss my sister's soft, girly lips for the first time of the year!!" The youngest of the twins, Mairu, wailed around the floor.

Kururi, hearing her sister's words tightened her grip on Aoba' s arm, which she had been cuddling for awhile now.

"Oh right. You kiss the one you love most once it's midnight right? Well you two have fun with that I guess." Aoba said, not surprised that they had planned to kiss each other.

Secretly, Kururi wanted to kiss Aoba when the clock stroke midnight so she had tried to come up with a diversion to rid her sister. For a few months now Kururi had had a big crush on Aoba so of course she would want to kiss the blue haired boy when midnight arrived.

Looking around for the remote quietly while Mairu was talking on and on about something, Kururi changed the channel and hid the remote pretending it wasn't her doing.

"Hey what happened?!?!" Mairu yelled at the tv, "There was only a minute left!!! We have to see the ball!! We need the remote!!! Hurry look for the remote Aochii!"

"Oh..." Kururi pretended to be distraught, while making up a pretty lame lie, "I think I might have left it in the kitchen. I brought it with so that I wouldn't lose it."

"Huh?" The blue haired boy looked confused at what the eldest sister had said and stopped searching for the remote.

"To the kitchen!!!" The girl yelled and ran of to the kitchen, but before Aoba could do the same Kururi stopped him.

She took out the remote from it's hidding place and changed the channel back to it's original place. There were 7 seconds back on the clock.

Aoba being completely confused now, looked at Kururi wondering what she was up to.

"I CAN'T FIND IT KURURI!!!" Mairu yelled and started to run back out to the other two.

Kururi looked towards the kitchen seeing Mairu running out of it and pulled Aoba towards her causing him to fall back on the couch.

"Hey the tv's back!! Kururi!!!!" The youngest smiled and started over at her.

With one second left, Kururi kissed Aoba and smiled, happy she was able to kiss her crush first thing. Aoba, not expecting this, blushed and immediately became flustered.

"K-Kururi!!" Mairu couldn't believe her big sister.

After pulling away from the kiss with Aoba, Kururi stood and went over to whining Mairu and kissed her apologizing. Mairu smiled satisfied while there were cheers and couples kissing on the television.

Kururi had got her way and she was 100% happy. Though, Aoba was still utterly confused and flustered he didn't mind the kiss and he was pretty happy to start the year off with these two. Maybe the year would be better than some of the others.
