Shadow

Chapter 9

Shadows POV

I got out of bed. I turned around to check if Barry was sleeping, and then I took off my shirt. I searched around Star Labs, looking for at LEAST a T-shirt.

"Shadow why are you up so early?" I heard Barry say.
"I'm trying to find a shirt?" I said blushing a bright red color.

He then walked over, with his eyes closed handing me a grey shirt that said Star Labs on it. I quickly put it on, and it was a little tight, so about 3 inches of my stomach was showing.

"You can open your eyes now." I said facing Barry. He opened his eyes looking at me up and down.

"That shirt looks a little bit tight on you.." said Barry. "No I'm fine." I said with a smile on my face as I headed toward the kitchen with Barry.

"At what time do Caitlyn and Cisco come?" I asked while taking eggs out of the refrigerator.

"They come...at about 6:00 i suppose." he replied while sitting at the table with his eggs in front if him.

At sat down next to him, staring at him. He looked back, and then asked, "why are you looking at me?"

"I can see the pain in your eyes." I said as he looked at me confused, "about what?" He asked.

"About your mother and your father. Your dad is in jail for a crime he didn't commit. And I a sure you that your thinking of ways to get him out, or how to prove to the police that he didn't do anything. And I understand completely. And I will be by your side at all times. I will figure out who the hell killed your mother, and get justice." I said patting his back.

Tears formed in his eyes.

"I was there when it happened. I ran downstairs, and saw two streaks running in circles, and my mom in the middle. Then another streak carried me to the middle of the street, and I ran back to my house, just to see cops and ambulances everywhere. I even remember the exact spot they took my dad away." He said crying softly. I hugged him tightly and brushed the tears out of his eyes.

I stared into his green eyes.

"I swear to god, I will try to find the person who murdered your mother, and that will be the only reason why I will be in this city. I will try my best ok?"

"Thank you." He said while brushing tears from his beautiful eyes.

"No problem, now finish your eggs dude, their getting cold!" I said smiling while a tear ran down my cheek. Me and Barry awkwardly ate in silence. I heard him sniff a couple times.

After that we rushed to the monitors to see if there was any crime happening.

Nada.

"Oh my god I almost forgot!" said Barry "Batman and Robin are coming today to help save the city!"

"I'll help clean." I said as we both cleaned.

After we were done, we decided to watch a horror movie. I trained myself not to be scared, and every time a jumpscare would show, he would shreik, and hug me tight.

Eventually, the movie ended, and Snow and Violet woke up. We talked for a little, but got inturuppted by the speaker. "Hey guys, its me and B." said Robin as Violet went to open the
door. "Hey." She said in her sexy voice, "Barry and the girls are in the kitchen." She said following Robin like a lost puppy.

Batman came in and saw Snow. Snow came toward him, and gave him a warm/cold hug.

"I'm not into hugs." said Batman.
"Well your going to have to." said Snow hugging him tighter. She let go and looked at B. She looked at him with her icy blue eyes, with him looking back.

"Guys come here!" said Robin as he sat down with Barry and the girls.

Snow and Batman walked toward them.

"There's no crime happening right now..so why don't we just dance for now?" said Robin.

The rest agreed as we went to the living room, and played Poker Face by Lady Gaga.

"This is my favorite song!" said Barry as he began to dance along. Robin and Violet danced together as me and B-man sat on the couch watching Barry and the others dance. Suddenly, Snow grabbed Batmans hand and leaned toward him.

"Can you dance with me?" She said with pleading eyes.

Batman looked at her up and down, and said, "......fine, not anything too exaggerated."

She immediately started to dance with him. They both danced good! I bet that they will get first prize if they enter Dancing with the Stars.

Barry walked toward me, I just placed my hand on my chin and lowered my head.

"Why are you always so serious?" he asked sitting down next to me.
"There's nothing to be happy about." I said taking off my shirt revealing my bra.

"I'm heading toward the pool." I said walking away.

Few minutes later

I was swimming around in my red two-peice swimsuit, washing away my thoughts in the water. I went underwater, holding my breath. When I went back up for air, I saw Barry. He was shirtless and had swim shorts on.

"Sure." I said. I kinda wanted him to come. He jumped in splashing water on my face.

I splashed him back.

"What was that for?" He said squinting his now red eyes.

(You know when you go underwaterr and your eyes turn red- for the exception of fish XD)

"You splashed me when you jumped in!" I said half smiling. He splashed me back and we did this process over and over again until I went underwater and grabbed his leg, dragging him underwater. I didn't want to kill him, so I let him go up for air.

We wrestled underwater, his wrinkly fingers touching my skin. I felt protected....for SOME reason....

Anyway, we dryed ourselves with towels, and headed back inside. I put on my mask, so it his my face. I had a red robe on, walking toward he beds, until I heard the alarm ring.

It said that some dude named "Captain Cold" that guy that tryed to rob me.

Fire vs Ice

Fire automatically wins.

It was just me and Barry, Since we didn't want to interuppt their little "party". Barry carried me to some hot dog stand, with that guy with the ice ray.

"Hahahaha if it isn't the Flash!" He said doing jazz hands.

"You need to get new glasses, because The Flash isn't the only one here." I said in a sassy tone.

"What do I call yo-"

"Its Shadow!" I shouted "Now give me the god damn ray before I burn your balls off!" I said clutching my fists.
