"So! Are you exited!" Squeaked Mercurykit. She was six moons old now, and her apprentice ceremony was bound to be soon. Smokeykit leaped from her nest, "yes! Yes! Yes!" Her sisters and her extension had ended. Today they  finally going to be apprentices! Even though Mercury kit was six moons old and Smokeykit was eight. They had felt as if they grew up together, Mercurykit did. And now the four were going to become apprentices together! "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey please join here beneath the high rock for a clan meeting. Smokeykit squirmed from her mothers grasp. "You have been grooming me all morning!" She complained. "You need to look your best in front of the clan!" As the cats gathered around he began. "Nutpaw, step forward. Nutpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"
"I do!" Nutpaw a voice rang over the hollow.
"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Nutpaw from this moment you will be known as Nutnose. StarClan honors your bravery and we welcome you as a full warrior of Thunderclan!" The clan all yowled Nutnose's new name. "Nutnose! Nutnose!" Cloudstar held his tail up for silence. "Tonight, you will sit a silent vigil guarding the camp. Mercurykit step up here please. Mercurykit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Mercurypaw Your mentor will be newtpelt. I hope Newtpelt will pass down all he knows on to you. Newtpelt, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from stonejaw and you have shown yourself to be brave and kind. You will be the mentor of Mercurypaw and I expect you to pass on all you know to Mercurypaw." Mercurypaw touched noses to Newtpelt, the clan called her new name, "Mercurypaw! Mercurypaw!Then Mercurypaw bonded over to Riverleap and Mapleheart. "Dawnkit, please step forward. Dawnkit you have well reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Dawnpaw Your mentor will be stonejaw. I hope stonejaw will pass down all she knows on to you. Stonejaw,  you are ready to take on another apprentice. You had received excellent training from mosswhisker, may he be well in starclan. and you have shown yourself to be trustworthy and loyal. You will be the mentor of Dawnpaw  and I expect you to pass down everything you know to Dawnpaw." Dawnpaw and stonejaw touched noses. "Dawnpaw! Dawnpaw!" "Rainbowkit please step forward. Rainbowkit, you have well reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as rainbowpaw Your mentor will be Snowface I hope Snowface will pass down all she knows to you. Snowface, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had great training from deertooth and you have shown yourself to be kind, and strong You will be the mentor of rainbowpaw and I expect you to pass on all you know to Rainbowpaw." Rainbowpaw touched noses to Snowface. "Rainbowpaw! Rainbowpaw!" Rainbowpaw  padded next to Dawnpaw. "And finally Smokeykit, please step forward, Smokeykit you have well reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as smokeypaw Your mentor will be adderberry, I hope adderberry will pass down all he knows on to you. Adderberry you are ready to take on another apprentice. You had received excellent training from stumpear and you have shown yourself to be honest and kind I expect you to pass that onto Smokeykit. The two touched noses. Smokeykit felt her pelt grow hot as the clan shouted her new name. "Smokeypaw! Smokeypaw!" She heard her sibling's and mercurypaw's voice over the rest. Finally she was an apprentice!
