" grandpa, you never told my the story of the great Bear Hunter Tar Malastar", said little Eine. His grandpa set next to him and were smoking his pipe and looking outside of the window and has fallen into deep thoughts. He never understood why his little grandson would ask him such questions. Why does he wanna know so much about the Bear Hunter Tar Malastar? It's not a pleasant story as people may think. Why can't little Eine ask sometimes smaller? How come he's the only one who wanna know about the great Tar? All this questions were floating inside of his head. But he knew deep down Eine would never stop ask those questions. Soon or later he has to tell the story of the great Tar to his grandson. But is Eine ready to hear this story ? Is there anyone in Aretha ready to hear who Tar Malastar was. All those questions made him tired and sleepy. It wasn't night time but day time, sun shining and the sound of the nearby waterfall can be heard in a distance.

It was afternoon, 24 January and the year was 3489B. Eine and his grandpa lived together since he was born. Both were very happy and Eine did everything to help his grandpa with work or household chores. Eine loved his grandpa so much that he would do anything to keep him safe and secure. That doesn't mean grandpa was weak but he aged a lot. He was the blessed one with a long life given by Bear Hunter. Grandpa was one of the closest friend to the great Tar and he's brother Sar. He had lived ages and seen a lot of people born and die and he was still alive, grandpa kept everything secret that had to do with Tar Malastar for his safety and his grandson.

That's one of the reasons they moved to the eastern Aretha which was covered in rainforests and waterfalls. This part of the world were very exotic and there was really all kind of creatures dwelling there. Here both of them were hidden from them outside world. Not many knew about Tar Malastar. But those who did were those who been hurt or their forefathers been killed by Tar Malastar. They hunted down anyone who served  Tar Grand Army. Over the years thousands of people where killed who been accused of their parents or their grandparents affiliated with Tar.

The truth is nobody knew the real story about Tar Malastar. Everyone keep blaming him and his bother Sar for the Great War that almost burned down Aretha to the dust. Grandpa knew in detail what happen and why. He knew that one day Eine has to  know the real story and not that he heard from the forest walkers that goes by in autumn. He knew it well, Eine won't stop till he has heard the legend. Grandpa fell into deep thoughts.

" grandpa ? " Eine interrupted.
" why is it so hard grandpa, I'm ready to hear it. I know I'm 9 years old but I'm strong and you know I can handle it" he continued.

But he's grandpa didn't said anything, he just sat there and thought about everything that he has been through. Deep in his mind he knew he's grandson won't stop. But can he handle this story ? It's not something you can tell a kid. But Eine is not like other kids, he tried to convince himself. His grandson is strong as an ox. He has his father strength and his mother stubbornness. He feels lucky to have a kid in his life. Eine was everything he had in life and would do anything to protect him from anything and anyone. That's also a reason he doesn't want to tell the story of Tar Malastar.

Days went by and Eine and his grandpa kept working together on those field next to their house. Agriculture was growing and Aretha has just recovered from the war. It has been over 900 years since the fall of Tar Malastar. Grandpa served in the Tar grand army for 97 years. He and Tar grew up together in little town called Derka outskirts of ancient kingdom of Seradi. Grandpa had served his best friend and he's mentor. He had such knowledge in everything, like art of healing and long life. Tar Malastar had passed everything to his friend in his last years. Before dying he told grandpa that he should search for a life outside of the battle field. And to pass on the  knowledge to create a better world. Grandpa always felt like he was not doing what Malastar wanted him to do.  But he's not here, grandpa thought for him self. Malastar is not so popular in my parts of Aretha. They lay blame on Malastar for the destruction of the kingdoms and the lands. This thoughts made grandpa sad.

Grandpa was sitting on the porch and thinking deep again and he had his pipe smoking like a chimney. He was thinking so deep that he couldn't hear little Eine call out for dinner.

" yes yes I'm coming" grandpa said

He stood up and wen inside for dinner. Little Eine had made rabbit stew. There wore a lot of Rascon rabbits in the forest.  Grandpa could smell the stew and he was so proud to see little Eine make such a tasteful rabbit stew. He sat down and looked at his grandson with proud look and smiling face. Eine got so glad when he saw his grandpa happy. Grandpa wanted to say something but the stew were to good and both just sat there and ate in silence. But they did enjoy eating together.

" this stew is so good, Eine. I'm so proud of you. Your mom would be so proud. Even your grandma couldn't make such good food. And it's been 850 years since she died. " grandpa said.

" I'm glad you like it grandpa. I'm proud to have you grandpa, I love you so much" Eine said proudly.

" well my grandson, after all. You deserve to know what really happen to Tar Malastar and who he really was. It's not a pleasant story and there are A lot of things that you may not like it. " grandpa said quietly.

" I would love to hear that grandpa. Please tell me. I'm ready and I don't care how it does sounds. Besides, I've already read an old book at my friend Jenfos house about old cannibals of the west. And what they did to woman and children. It cannot be scarier than those cannibals. " Eine said strongly and with authority.

Grandpa was chocked when he heard that but yet he knew that Eine would do stuff behind his back and now he was admitting it like it was nothing. Some things he kept hidden from him but yet he learn from someone else. So it's better if  Eine knew the complete story, grandpa thought.

" very well my young son, let's begin with the story of the great king and great bear hunter, Tar Malastar, the first and only, the kind of Zabros folks from the south of Aretha."
