I jumped, almost falling into the lake. I turned around and widened my eyes.

It was Eva.

I frowned and got up. I tried to walk past her, but she grabbed my arm quickly. She looked into my eyes. Her eyes was filled with sadness while mine was filled with anger.

"Flora, please" she begged.

"Don't 'Flora, please' me" I snapped. "I'm a disgusting whore, aren't I?"

She opened her mouth wide and widened her eyes.

"Flora, let me explain" Eva argued.

"Don't talk to me" I ripped her hand away from my arm and angrily, walked away.

I grabbed my bike, obviously not looking back and biked back to my house.

I was harsh, I admit, but she said those things to me. She has been treating me badly before and I am always the one saying sorry. Always.

Not this time.

I set my bike in my garage and went inside my house. I quietly walked upstairs. I went my room and plopped on my bed. I closed my eyes, hoping that I could fall fast asleep.

And I did.

I woke up to the sound of my new ringtone. Angelina found a way to make a song as your ringtone and she sneakily changed mine.

I didn't mind it though.

I groaned and grabbed the phone from my bedside table. I answered the phone, not looking at the caller ID and pressed it against my ear.

"Hello..?" I said, groggily.

"Flora? Where are you? It's like 12!!" Angelina cried. I looked at the clock on my phone and indeed, it was 12.

"Oh, sorry. I just woke up"

"Get your ass over here!" She yelled.

"Jeez. Calum down" I lazily got up to go to the bathroom.

"Don't use a Calum pun on me!! I need you!!"

"Okay okay!! I will be there in 20 minutes"

"Okay, bye"

"Bye"

I hung up my phone and quickly took a shower. I did my other routine and I end up wearing a red sweatshirt that said 'My brain is made of song lyrics and stupid facts about band members', white ripped skinny jeans, and red converse that I never knew I had.

I brushed my damp hair and put it in a ponytail with a red bow. I tried to cover up my puffy eyes and the bags under my eyes from not sleeping and more of tossing and turning, by some makeup. I put on mascara, eyeliner, and lip balm like always.

This outfit is probably the most colorful thing I wore in days.

I went downstairs and went in the kitchen to tell my mom that I was going to Calum's house, but she wasn't there. I looked around for a note and found one on the kitchen table.

A pink note stuck to the kitchen table. I pulled it off and read it.

"Hey sweetie. I won't be home until 8. Apparently, there is some crisis with one of the houses and the people. We will have a very long meeting. So, text me if you are going anywhere. Love you. :)"
