Limbo

Chapter.1

I lied down with the cold earth under my back. I've been "accidentally" shot six times in my arms and legs. I could feel my blood flowing out of my wounds. What a way to go I might add, eighteen years old, and shot by my own parents just because my eyes were a different color. Sure they were blood red, but they were always like that, plus that shouldn't matter I mean I was their only child, they're only daughter to be exact, how could they do such a cruel thing? I began to see a light, THE light, the one that would carry me to a better place, away from the two people I knew as mom and dad. Before I left this god forsaken earth, I took one last look at my parents.

"Shinjimae baka (Go to hell stupid ass holes).

Those were my last words on earth, the last words to my parents. I closed my eyes for the last time, allowing the fresh December snow to fall upon my lifeless body. I opened my eyes to see the little clothing, which was none, that I was wearing were gone and in place were snow white robes with wings and a golden halo that floated above my white hair. I was an angel in heaven.

I started to walk toward the golden gate ahead as I looked around. The only thing to see was white fluffy clouds that I could feel under my bare feet. I jumped up and down as I approached the gate.

"Hi" said girl who I guessed was the gatekeeper.

"Hello" I said back to her.

"I'm Ammi, what's your name?" asked the blonde haired girl.

"I'm Okiku Mariyama." I responded

"Well Okiku you're on the list, so you may enter." said Ammi grabbing a key.

She walked up to the gate a pointed the key at it. The gate opened with a blast of bright light.

"Awesome right, enjoy your stay, not that your leaving, who would?" said Ammi.

I walked inside the gates looking at how much more cheerful the inside of the gates looked. The gates had closed behind me almost instantly. There were angels of all ages everywhere, some of them were really young, around five or six, others were a lot older, and possibly in they're eighties. I didn't care that much though one thing that everyone had in common was that everyone was happy. After a few minutes of walking around, a group of four girls walked up to me.

"Hello" said the girls in union.

"Hi, I'm Okiku, what are your names, are you all friends?" I asked.

"I'm Hikari this is Luna." said Hikari pointing to a girl with black hair.

"I'm Nari" said a girl with a reddish brown colored hair.

"I'm Mina" said a girl with purple hair.

"She had to dye it that color." I thought to myself, staring at Mina's unnatural hair color.

I opened my mouth to speak, but was thrown off guard when I saw Hikari kiss all three girls.

"Oh, you guys are" I started.

"Lesbian and proud." said Hikari with a smile.

"Do you want us to show you around heaven?" asked Luna Politely.

I shook my head and smiled at the girls I now considered to be my friends.

"OK then, let's go."
