Isara knew she shouldn't have helped the cub. But, as she was about to leave, a great roar sounded behind her. A mother sabertooth cat launched off a rock and landed feet away from her. Spittle and drool dropped off of the mother's mouth as she growled and started towards the cub. Isara pulled the mammoth fur poncho closer around her. She breathed slowly as she accepted her fate. A man rushed out from the trees. He had an Atlatl in his hand and a mammoth fur hood over his head. The Atlatl soared over the mother's head and she narrowed her giant eyes. The cat ran up and grabbed her cub and ran away. "Thanks, I didn't think that anyone would save me." Isara told the man as she huddled tighter in her mammoth fur shirt and poncho. The man smiled a handsome smile and took off his hood. He had brown short hair and a handsome smile. Isara was amazed to see that his eyes weren't brown but, deep blue. "What is your name?" Isara asked amazed. "BlueJay." He said. "Isara." She told him. "That's a pretty name." He told her. Isara blushed and hoped he didn't notice. He was unlike any other person she had met. He had cream colored skin instead of light tan and had dark brown hair and short hair. "Listen, Isara, my group wanted me to look for you. The world is dying. The mammoths are dying out and the trees are becoming even barer. That's why you need to come with me and we need to travel to the stone of age. You see, your mother was supposed to restore the stone, but, only you can do it now. Come." He said. "But, I can't leave my group. What about storm." Isara told him. "And he's your..husband?" He asked with his eyebrow raised. "No.. He's just.. Enthusiastic." Isara said looking down. "I will come with you tomorrow morning, but, my aunt won't be thrilled." She replied frowning. BlueJay smiled and stalked off into the woods. Isara was still stunned by his presence and headed back to camp. "Isara!! You're okay! I was looking for you." Storm rushed to Isara and hugged her tightly. Then, swiftly and carefully, kissed her cheek. Isara growled and then gasped at her lifelike growl. "Sorry." Storm said. Isara glared at him and went inside her hut to start a fire. It would be a long, cold night.
