Love and Vengeance {Eren x Reader}

Chapter 6

           I was thinking about the date. I liked Eren for a long time but didn't seem to admit it.  I woke up feeling a little queasy.  I went to go get ready.  Mikasa told me the night before that she was going out with Jean. I knew that Jean liked her but, I didn't know that Mikasa secretly liked him.  Just as I was about to pick out an outfit, the door burst open. It was Armin.

        "(y/n)! Are you alright? You didn't show up for breakfast. Mikasa told me you were sleeping. Eren was worried as well but he didn't want to disturb you. We thought you were-"

       " N-no I'm fine,you guys should stop worrying about me too much! Oh and Armin can you apologize to Eren for me. Its just that I might have been late, what's the time?"

       " Precisely, 5:47." he responded.

        God! I feel so bad he must have been waiting for me all this time. I am screwing this up for the both of us. We were supposed to spend the whole day together. I have a feeling this day won't end too well.

     " Well I should get going. Have a nice day! Oh and please don't tell Instructor Shadis, that I entered the girls area."

    "You know I won't." I giggled.

     And with that he left. I got ready as quickly as I can. My head started to hurt. But I had to bear with it for now. I went to the mess hall where I had to meet up with Eren. He was standing there by the bench where we usually sat at. His eyes were staring down at the floor with a worried look.

    "H-hi and sorry for being l-late." I greeted him with an apology. He stared at me with his worried look disappeared and his relieved look visible. " Its okay, you should eat something." he told me. There was food on the table.

   " I am not really hungry I'll eat later but for now lets enjoy the rest of the day together."   I felt something pull me towards the table. It was Eren's hand. " I am not going to enjoy this day with you if you don't eat something. I want you to be healthy. I-I c-care about y-you." His cheeks were dusted with pink.

    I sat down." I'll eat only because y-you said so." I stated in a nervous manner. I nibbled on the bread until half of it was gone and I took a few sips of the soup. Until Eren looked satisfied. My head started to hurt again. How long will I have to bear with this disgrace?

    Just as I was done we headed outside it was cold. I noticed that Eren was wearing one sweater and a coat . Oh shoot I forgot to get my sweater! I started to shiver. I felt something blanketed over my shoulders. It was his coat.

    "Eren I'll get my own. Your going to catch a cold." I was worried.

    " No its okay besides I can't survive a second without you. Today I am annoyingly going to stay by your side at all times." I could tell that my cheeks were red.

    We walked side by side. Fingers intertwined with each others. We talked about our past back in Shiganshina. Suddenly everything went black.
