Chapter 6:King of the squirrels

First and second period was over and Jack and Bob left for nutrition which was kinda like recess But without the playground.They walked outside and tried finding Felix and Mark.

Mostly the whole period they wrote notes to each other and they had a drawing contest to see if who drew the best dinosaur.Bob went first and drew the dinosaurs legs far apart and it didn't even have a tail.Jack tried hiding his laughter and drew a dinosaur.At the end of second period,Jack finished his drawing and Bob was stunned by the way he drew it.It actually looked like a dinosaur unlike Bob's drawing,he drew a tail with scales drawing all over the body and fire breathing out of it's mouth as a extra.

"Wow!You're really good at drawing!"

"It's nothing."Jack shrugged."It's blessing and a curse."

Bob chuckled.

*RING!!!*

"Okay class.Line up by the door and i'll dismiss you."The teacher said.

Everyone grabbed their stuff and lined up.The teacher went in front of the line and lead them outside from the nearest exit.

"We should try and find Felix and Mark."

"Where do you think they are?"Bob asked.

"Somewhere that has food of course."Jack joked.

"Maybe at the quad?"

They walked toward the quad and closely looked everywhere and everyone who passed by.The 7th graders probably had to be a few inches taller than Bob and Jack.The 8th graders were like giants to them.They noticed that some of the boys that were in 8th grade had tiny baby haired mustaches under their noses.Jack and Bob thought it could be kinda cool to have a mustache.Bob and Jack couldn't find them in the quad so they looked around the lunch area.There were three lines of students,waiting to go inside the cafeteria and get their food.They tried looking for them at the benches but saw groups of friends eating together.They decided to go and look inside the cafeteria and they didn't want/have to eat so they went to the other side of it and entered.There were rows of tables lined up and three lines where students went through to get their food.Kinda like a buffet.There were all sorts of foods,cereal,muffins,yogurts,and much more.There was also a stage where the clubs would practice or often make plays for parents and kids to enjoy.They searched for them in the lines and the tables but no sight of them.

"I don't think they're in here."Jack said.

"Maybe they might be at the field."

"Yeah,let's go."Jack said,walking towards the exit when he hears someone call Jack and Bob's name.They both turn around and they find Felix and Mark running towards them.

"Where we're you guys?!We were looking all over for you?"Bob asked.

"Felix here wanted to get some food."Mark said.

"Then,where is it?"Jack said,looking at Felix's empty hands.

"The fruit was gross and theres only one kind of cereal."Felix said.

"What about the muffins?"Jack said.

"They ran out."He responded.

"Ha."

"Well,the bell is going to ring pretty soon.Our break is only 15 mintues long and we spent half of it eating and looking for each other."Bob said.

"I know."Mark laughed.

"How was first and second period for you guys?"Felix asked.

"Jack and I mostly wrote notes to each other."Bob said.
