What It Means To Be Brothers

***AUTHOR'S NOTE***

Ok so a bunch of stuff might not make sense unless you know about some of the head canons we have. I don't know if anyone will actually read this, but here goes:

1) You know how when Oliver goes all crazy his eyes swirl blue and pink? Well we say that, occasionally, Allen and/or Matt will go crazy too (something they inherited from dear old Ollie) and when they do their eyes swirl as well. (Allen's will swirl blue while Matt's will swirl pink). They have little to no memory of what happens during this time and are highly unpredictable and there is a good chance they will be more likely to kill during this time. But it doesn't happen often at all. On another note, we also believe that they are fraternal twins and share a special bond that goes beyond the norm. Like they are able to share dreams, determine exactly how the other feels at particular moments, and other such stuff. We also have given Matt the ability of magic, inherited from Oliver, and this plays a role in this as well. As when Matt goes crazy it makes Allen go crazy (through the bond) though not the other way around, as Allen doesn't have magic.

[the first headcanon actually has multiple ones in it but I'm too lazy to separate them so meh]

2) once upon a long time ago during a fight between the brothers Matt unknowingly broke Allen's hand and wrist. So Allen now has a metal pin holding his wrist together and can't move it very well (at least not without a good bit of pain). He also has the bottom bone in his thumb replaced with metal.

3) Allen will sometimes slip between accents. This will happen either because of stress, fear, or any other highly emotional state, or just randomly. (Like going from his normal New York accent to Scottish to French to Italian to German and back again, things like that)

4) Matt is allergic to mustard. (Yes you read right, mustard)

5) Allen is allergic to peanuts (and any other nut really) and hay.

[there is actually a reason for headcanons 4 and 5! These are some of the top ten allergies in Canada and the U.S. respectively. We though it'd be nice to give the characters something relatable to, so allergies came up and viola~!] 

6) Allen has a habit of sometimes accidently saying things out loud when he doesn't mean to. Then realizing that he did and asking "did I say that out loud?" And trying to create a diversion to cover up the fact that he did.
