Chapter 15

I held my breath while I was waiting for Tommy to pick up his phone. Bryan and I were on our way home to his apartment.

I tapped my fingers on the side of my phone case. I was getting a bit impatient. 

"Hello?" Tommy said from the phone. I could breathe again.

"Tommy? Put me on speaker." I said trying not to seem too excited, even though I still couldn't believe what have just happened. 

"Okay, you're on speaker now. What's up?" he asked. Before I could answer Melissa, Allan and Doug began screaming into Tommy's phone.

"Liz! Liz is that you?! How was your audition? Did you get the part?!" I giggled.

"In fact... I did." I said and screamed. Melissa and Tommy started screaming too. Bryan looked at me and started laughing. He haven't stopped smiling since Angela told me that I got the part. 

"Oh my God! Congratulations Lizzie!" screamed the group of four. The conversation went on for a while, but before I hung up, Melissa shouted into Tommy's phone.

"Buy some nice clothes for tonight!" then she hung up, leaving Bryan and I confused.

"What did she say?" Bryan asked.

"She said that I should buy some nice clothes for tonight?" I replied. The Bryan turned the car around.

"Well, then let's do it." he said. I smiled. It made me happy that Bryan took Melissa so seriously. I'd known her since we were kids. When Melissa said that you should wear something nice, she had something planned for you. And since I just got a job at  Walt Disney World, she was probably gonna celebrate with a dinner party.

Bryan parked his car in a parking lot and we walked together to a few shops. Never heard of any of them, but they had some nice clothes. The first shop we went into was called "Inside the Magic". There I found a dark blue lace dress with a round neck and a poofy skirt. I loved it!

Bryan bought a caramel blazer and a white shirt to match. He apparently had a matching pair of shoes and jeans at home. I had a pair of black stilettos in my suitcase, so I didn't have to buy anything new in the shoe department. 

We then drove home to Bryan's apartment. We sat on his little two-seat couch and looked at the papers Angela gave me this morning. 

"Okay, what does it say?" Bryan asked. I took a minute to read before I answered  him.

"Uhm, not much, just a few things that I need to do and remember." I then said. Bryan took another piece of paper from the file folder.

"What's that?" I asked. Bryan turned it around so I could see.

"It's your schedule for next week." he said. On the paper there were a calendar from next monday till sunday. 

"So, I have today, tomorrow and sunday off?" I asked joyful. Bryan quick read on the other pieces of papers.

"Seems so... wait, no. You have an appointment sunday at 10 am." he said and showed me the paper. It read: Meet with Sophia Michelson in Angela's office at 10 am. Learn and get information about Jane Porter.

"Sophia Michelson? Who's that?" I asked and frowned.

"That's the old Jane. The one that... you know... kissed me..." Bryan nervously said. I nodded.

"Oh, I didn't know her name was Sophia. I like that name. Did she get fired or something?" I then asked.

"No, she got pregnant. And you could start seeing the belly getting bigger, so she went other maternity leave. She'll be back eventually though." Bryan said. 

"Does that mean that I'll get fired after Sophia comes back?" I asked getting all depressed. Bryan put a hand on my shoulder and looked at me with his deep blue eyes.

"Just make sure that Angela likes you. Then she'll find a good job for you after. Heck, maybe you even get to keep the role and Sophia get's another job." Bryan's feel better speech made me feel a little more okay. I took a deep breath and smiled. Then I continued looking at the schedule.

"Monday's my first day already?" I asked nervous. 

"Yeah, we'll be doing some meet and greet's that day with some preschoolers." Bryan said. I gulped. 

"Okay..." Was all I could get out. 

"Let's do something fun, okay?" he said. I smiled. Something fun was exactly what I felt like doing. 

"Grab your coat, we're going to Magic Kingdom Park." he said.

"But we've been there so many times." I laughed. I felt a little more like eating pizza and ice cream.

"Yeah, but I noticed that you've never been on the Prince Charming Regal Carrousel." he said and grabbed our coat from his hangers. Hm. A carrousel ride sounds nice. Maybe we could get some ice cream too.

"Okay, but promise me that there will be ice cream." I said and stood up. 

"I promise." he said and slid his hand into mine.
