I Fell In Love With Tarzan

Chapter 16

It got late. Bryan and I had taken a few rides on the carrousel in Magic Kingdom Park and had grabbed some ice cream cookie sandwiches from a little cute restaurant called "Sleepy Hallow".

We went home at about 4pm, got dressed for Melissa's special occasion. Doug had called us a few minutes ago and told us to meet the others in Epcot. Bryan knew someone who could sneak us in to the Park. Very exclusive, and Bryan ended up owing him a favor. 

"Where should we meet them?" I asked, holding Bryan's hand.

"At a place called Coral Reef Restaurant." he said and looked at a map. I'd never been to Epcot before, so I had to suck all the experiences in I could. "It's right over there." he then said and pointed at a big building. We gave our names to a waiter and told him that our friends were saving a seat for us. The waiter nodded, he knew what we were talking about. He then showed us the table were Melissa, Allan, Tommy and Doug sat. 

When Melissa saw me, she screamed and ran towards me and into my arms. 

"I'm so happy to see you!" she said an started crying. I hugged her back and mumbled the same thing back to her. Then Tommy came and joined the hug with Allan and Doug following. We all laughed, including Bryan, who stood by himself and looked at my little weird friend group. 

We then split and sat back the table. We sat right next to a window that lead to a fish tank. So we could actually see the fish that were swimming in the tank.

"Wow, it's like we're under water." I said amazed. 

"I know right, it's so hypnotizing!" Allan added. I laughed. it was nice to feel Allan being on top again. I was worried about seeing him, but everything turned out great.

"Okay, so for appetizers, we've orderd three creamy crab dips, and you have to share it with a partner since it's a for two - appetizer." Tommy said.

"And we've orderd some killer drinks!" Doug said excited. "We ordered a Magical Star Cocktail for Mel and you, Liz..." he then continued.

"Wait, what's that?" I asked.

"It's liquor that tastes like mango and passionfruit with coconut rum, pineapple juice and a glow cube as a souvenir." Allan explained.

"And Tommy and I are having Coral 'Rita's." Doug continued again and gave Tommy a high five.

"Yeah! Tequila!" Tommy yelled. A lady across the restaurant then shushed at him. Tommy put a hand over his mouth and we all started laughing.

"What are you having?" I asked Bryan.

"Uh, I'll just have a Piña CoLAVA," he said and signaled a waiter.

"Sweet, glad you're not a loser like Allan," joked Doug. Melissa smacked his shoulder.

"Oh shut up will ya!" she said. Doug chuckled a little and winked to Allan.

"Just because I'm ordering a non-alcoholic drink, it doesn't mean I'm a loser," Allan defended himself. "it should be really tasty," he then added.

"Oh yeah? What are you having?" I asked. 

"The Buzz Lightyear Punch," Allan said. "it's lemonade served in a Buzz Lightyear cup." we all tried not to laugh. We all loved Allan, but his love for Buzz Lightyear was almost getting out of hand. 

A waitress come over to our table.

"Hi again I see the rest came along," she greeted. "would you like to order your entrées?" 

"Yeah, I'd like the Oven-roasted Chicken Breast," Tommy said.

"Me too!" Allan added.

"I'd like the Braised Pork Belly," said Doug.

"Could I get the Seared Rainbow Trout?" I asked. The waitress nodded and scribbled in her notebook.

"And I'll have the Seared Mahi Mahi," said Bryan.

"Oh, that sounds yummy, I'll  have that too." said Melissa. We all then gave the waitress our menu's.

"Great, your appetizers are on their way, so are your drinks." she then said before she waddled away. As she went into the kitchen, a waiter with a platter walked out. Our drinks came.

The waiter placed our drinks before us and came again later with our appetizers. Melissa shared with Doug, Tommy shared with Allan and I shared with Bryan. 

"This is delicious," I said. "thank you for planning this." I winked to Melissa who sent me a blow kiss.

"A toast to my little sister, who's the new Jane Porter!" Tommy began and stood up with his drink in his hand.

"To Lizzie!" they all cheered, including Bryan. They all stood up and toasted for me. My face cracked into a big smile. I was so happy that I had such amazing friends. Then they clinked their cocktail glasses and drank. So did I. Then they sat down and our conversation continued.

"I'm so proud of you, Liz." said Tommy and smiled.

"Thank you Tom, I'm proud of you too." I said back. Tommy chuckled as if I was joking. "No I'm serious. You're so responsible and mature!" I then said, trying to make him realize that I wasn't joking.

"Thanks Liz, you're the best." he said and kissed my cheek. 

"So, when do you start work?" Doug asked.

"This monday. Bryan and I are doing a meet and greet with some preschoolers," I said and laid a head on Bryan's shoulder.

"Awe, that's so cool!" said Melissa.

"What about you guys?" I asked.

"Well," Melissa started and giggled a little. "Allan here, met a girl two days ago, and she invited him to the Animal Kingdom Park where she works!" she then continued.

"What? Allan, that's so sweet! What's her name?" I couldn't believe it. Allan met a girl that's perfect for him.

"Her name is Isabella, and she's the zookeeper in the elephants area." he said and started blushing. "She's really sweet." he then added and took a sip of his lemonade.

"She's really sweet, and so pretty too." Melissa said. Our waiter came with our food.

"That was quick." Bryan said and received his Mahi Mahi. My Rainbow Trout also came, and I was starving so I quickly took the first bite.

"What about you guys?" I asked Doug and Melissa with my mouth filled with rainbow trout.

"We're going home in two days," Doug said and took a bite of his pork.

"Yeah, I need to get back to work soon." Melissa added. "And we need to redecorate the living room as well." 

"Awe, too bad," I said.

"Yeah, I'm gonna miss you so much!" Melissa whimped. 

"You too, boo." I said and frowned, but I remembered that this was the last night that I was gonna see Doug and Melissa in a long time, and Allan was going to the Animal Kingdom soon too, so I wouldn't be seeing him either. So I took a deep breathe a raised my glass.

"To us," I then said and we all clinked our glasses together.
