As I try to recover from this awful situation, as I do every day. I see my best friend run around the corner. I try to make myself look happy, which takes a lot of strength but I accomplish this mission. She runs up to me and screams, “OMG….guess what just happened!”
“What Mackenzie?” I try to sound happy.
“Charlotte, got excepted into North Sydney High!”
“That’s awesome!” I start to feel a little better.
Mackenzie has always made me feel better after I have been bullied, though I haven’t told her I get bullied because Luke, Britney, Scott, Amanda, Lucy and Mandy said, “If you tell, we will hurt you bad and we will photo edit embracing pictures and put your messed up face on that picture and put them all over the internet.” So I decided to not tell anyone. On the other hand Charlotte is my best friend's (Mackenzie) little sister.
“Do you wanna go for a walk,” Mackenzie asks.
“Yeah….I guess,” I reply
We walk off, down the hall. We go around the corner and standing at her locker is Mandy. I quickly maked an excuse, "Hey, look!" I yell. Mackenzie looks away and I sprint away, as fast as I could go. But I wasn't fast enough, Mackenzie looked around faster than I could run.
"Shanay... there's nothing there.... and why did you try to run away?" Mackenzie asks.
"Yeah why did you try to run away from.. your best friend..?" Mandy meanly echoed Mackenzie.
"Hey... thats not nice....!" I try to be brave.
Mandy gives me her evil glare, which I know what it means. It means, the photos, my face and more.
Mackenzie looks down at her phone for a minute and then tries to stands up for me and takes a big step in front of me and points her phone at me. On her phone I read "Run away now, I will meet you at our meeting place!" I give her a nudge and then carefully slip away from behind Mackenzie's back, and then run to our meeting place. It takes about five minutes to get there and then I slip a book out of my back and start reading while I wait for my best friends to come. I get about thirteen pages into my book when I hear Mackenzie coming.
"Sharnay....we need to talk..right now!" She yells, not sounding herself.
