Chapter 35 - Video

Nicole's POV

It's been a month since we last saw Sophia; we don't have any idea where she is. I've been visiting their house everyday but no one was there. We didn't receive any text, call or any kind of message from her. I was hurt knowing she was my best friend and she didn't trust me enough to let me know where she's at or what happened to her. Blake on the other hand is a mess, he always stay at the parking lot hoping that Sophia would come to school and on weekends he always wait in the front door of Sophia's house. It was devastating to see. 

'Ugh! Where are you S?'

Here I am sitting in the cafeteria with everyone, while playing at my phone. I glance at my friends who have been silent the whole time. Scratch that since Sophia was gone! I was about to open my mouth to ask them if they have plans in the weekend when my phone beeps.

I look at my phone, I got a video message. I press play and there was a familiar girl at the beach playing a piano. I gasp out loud and pause it quickly. It was Sophia! It was Sophia! I keep on repeating to myself that I didn't know I said it out loud.

"It was who?" I look up to find my boyfriend Kyle looking at my phone wide eyed. I look down to find Sophia's face, and look back at my friends who were eyeing me like I was crazy.

"Uhm, Babe please let me finish watching this maybe there's a private message that S said to this video." I whispered to Kyle giving my best puppy dog face. He sighs and nodded eventually. I press play again and listen to the video.

The video ended, and I didn't realize I was crying when someone wipes my tears. I look up to my boyfriend. I give him a grateful smile.

"Are you okay? Is she okay?" Kyle asks concerned in his voice. I glance at my friends who were watching us the whole time. I nodded at him and hand my phone to Blake who was confused, I give him a reassuring smile, and said softly "Watch this!"
