Do I have a choice? Or do I just fall head over heals?

chapter7

"Im here" I yelled going into the store and putting my bag in the storage room. I am so tired. I swear I stayed up till like 4 last night. We didnt get back from Mr.Tates house until like 10 and when we did we stayed up and watched movies all night with Jaydens little brother, Beckam. We waited till there parents got home and that wasnt until 3:30 I then stayed up long enough to make them something to eat and say hello.

"Your late." Justin said to me when I walked back to the front of the store. He then gave me a hug like he does every time I see him."I have to go some stuff in the storage room." He said and then walked off. And I knew I was late the alarm didnt go off till 12:20 but im only like 15 minutes late.

The bell then went off signaling someones entry. I didnt pay much attention to them just knew it was a guy with 3 little kids. I was messing with some stuff on the counter, orginizing and then messing it up again, but then I heard a crash. I ran over to the other side of the store towards the middle, were we keep all of our incence stuff.

When I got there I saw there was a brocken turtle holder on the ground in many, many pieces. "I'll pay for that" I looked up at the man that said that and saw it was Mr.Tate.

"Ugh cant I go one day without seeing you." I said joking. I then looked behind him to were I saw Alyssa and 2 other little girls. "Let me go get a broom." I went and found a broom when I got back Mr.Tate was messing with someting and I took a chance to check him out.

He was wearing dark wash jeans and a blue shirt that hugged him nicely. You could see the outline of those very fine abbs. " I know that Im very fine and all but You know you really need to stop checking me out." I heard. I then looked up to see Mr.Tate was smirking at me.

I bent down infront of him and started sweeping up the mess that they made, "What are you guys doing here anyways?" I asked looked back at Alyssa and the girls that were watching both of us.

"Alyssa wanted to get a new ofit and hang out with friends." He said sighing. I laughed, thats what he gets for leaving me with her tonight. When I stood back up and put the dust pan on the table next me Alyssa came running and clung to my leg.

"I missed you Nina" I smiled at her, then ruffled her hair. "And so did daddy, he wouldnt stop talking about you." She said. I looked up at her dad and smirked when he turned a little shad of pink.

"Well, to tell you the truth I missed you to." I said to her and set her down, only to have her wanting to be picked up again. I looked back at Mr.Tate to see him watching Alyssa with so much love in his eyes. I smiled at that, it was sweet.

"Nadiline, where are you?" I heard Justin shout. I yelled a over here and he came and found us. "Whats going on?" He asked looking at me and then glaring at Mr.Tate.

"I swear I'll pay for it." Mr.Tate said instantly I laughed at him. Justin then noticed the girl in my arms and smiled.

"This is the girl I'm babysitting tonight. And this is the guy that made me not come to work yesterday. Oh and by the way he said to tell you he didnt like apples." I said smiling at the joke from yesterday. "Oh Mr.Tate this is Justin my boss"

"He's your teacher?" Justin asked the same time Mr.Tate asked "He's the one that asked you out yesterday?" I laughed and nodded to both of them. "Isnt he a bit old?" and "Isnt he a bit young" Was all I heard.

The boys glared at each other and then looked back at me. "You guys really need to stop doing that" I said and then finally Alyssa let me put her down. "And yes to both of you, Mr.Tate is only a year older than you Justin." I said and smiled.

Justin glared at Mr.Tate. God these people have anger issues for no reason at all. "So your babysitting for your teacher?"

"Yes, and I have before, its no big deal, I'll probably call my friends over to help if thats okay?" I asked looked at Mr.T.

"Yeah that's fine, but nobody over 19." He did just because of Justin Im sure of it. "Well let me pay for that and then ill lett you get back to work." I nodded and led him and every one else over to the cashregister. "How much?"

I sighed and looked at Justin. "13.22 please." I said and he handed me over a 20. When I went to give him the change he shook his head.

"Keep it" He then winked at me, I blushed alittle but not enough that he noticed, I hope. "I'll see you later." And then the 4 left the store. I smiled at the retreting bunch until Justin sighed.

"I dont like him" I looked at him like he was crazy. They just meet how could he not like him? "He winked at you, thats wrong for a teacher to do, and he is having you babysitt, on a night when you should be going out with me." I new that he liked me but I didnt like him in that way.

"Hey Justin I think you should meet my friend Brook, you guys would get on great together, and your both single.

"No,  I have my eye on somebody else thank you very much." He said and winked at me. I groaned internily. How could he not get my hint.

"Im sorry Justin, I dont like you like that." His eyes showed hurt and he turned around and went into the storage room again. Great this is going be akward around him. But ill just make sure that I have somebody from the group with me when I work shifts with him.

At 8 I closed the store, Justin left at 6 and so ive been here by myself. But its been busy so I wasnt bored. I locked up and headed to the food coaurt to buy a subway sandwitch like I always do when I work late. When I got home it was about 8:59 so there was already a car parked infront of my house. I got out of my car and went inside.

There were voices coming from the living room and when I stuck my head in there I saw my mom sitting there in her work uniform on one couch and Mr.Tate and Alyssa on the other. "Hey mom" I said and I kissed the side of her head before sitting next to her.

"Well Im off to work,I'll see you tomorrow night honey. And it was great meeting you." She hugged me goodbye then shook hands with Mr.Tate.

"I thought you were having someone come and stay over with you?" He asked and I shook my head. I tryed calling everyone but they were all busy. "Alright I guess I'll be a little earlyer than I thought, how does 12:30 sound?" I nodded.

"Thats fine, but you dont have to come back early, Ive stayed here by myself before, so it wont be that hard watching Alyssa to." He looked at me skepticully before kissing Alyssa goodbye. I followed him to the front door and he was still watching me. "Okay if you keep doing that I will get freaked out." I said smiling at him.

"Give me your phone so I can put my number in it, if you have any problems ever when staying alone you call me." I handed him my phone and he handed me his. I took a chance and saved my number under 'Your sexyass student Nadiline(;" When he saw that he laughed. "Yep you are." And then he left. I was blushing badly.

I looked down at my phone to see he saved his number under 'You sexyass teacher Jacen Tate.(;' I smirked and thought the same thing he said.
