"NO!"
The raven-head shot up from bed, sitting abruptly. Her body was visibly drenched in salty sweat, raven hair stuck on her temple and every part of her body that was wet with sweat. Her amethyst eyes were wide in fear that you could almost see how dull and lifeless her fetching eyes became. Her lips trembled and quivered as she struggled to restrain the scream that threatened to tear out through her mouth. She put her palm on her head and dugged her fingers through her scalp as her breathing became ragged. Her wide eyes peeked through her fingers as she shook her head repeatedly, inhaling sharp intake of breaths.
"No, no no..no, no, please no.." she mumbled, tears pooling at the corner of her eyes that soon had broken through and crystal-clear tears started streaking down her porcelain face continuously, her mouth parted slightly when her sharp intake of breathes soon turned into soft sobs, she was mourning. Her sobs grew louder as she tried to stop herself from screaming but failed nonetheless, she released a cracked scream before breaking into sobs once again. Her own cracked and broken sobs started to lull her to sleep but that was not the problem. She won't sleep, she can't sleep. She wouldn't sleep after that dream. She didn't know what to do. All she could think about was that dream and how it started breaking her. It was three days after that night at the balcony and slowly nightmares began consuming her.
Wasn't this life supposed to be perfect? Wasn't this sweet lie supposed to be freaking perfect until she dies? Until she goes to Nirvana or be reincarmated again? So why? Why was she having nightmares?
She cried, cried silently as the moon light passed through the window pane shining on her, like she was some star of a freaking horror show. The moon light only added to the sad atmosphere as she sat there, silently crying until somewhat she couldn't take it and slept, dried tears rested on her pink-tinted cheeks. She lied in fetal position, waiting for the night to end, waiting for the hellish time of day for her come to an end temporarily and endured the pain in her sleep.
Her nightmare.
She stood there, in the middle of the catastrophe, the burning debris of the building was scattered everywhere, a pool of blood just at the tip of her toes. Her body shook in fear, her knees felt really weak and they trembled. Her fingers were dugged through her scalp as her eyes widen in shock along with tears dripping at the tip of her chin. She sobbed soundlessly, her amethyst eyes scanning the bloody place as she couldn't even stop herself even if she wanted to. There she was, full of blood. And those grinning demons held the decapitaded heads of the ones she love. Her mother, father, brother, her friends..
Suddenly a sword pierced her weak heart from behind in agonizing slowness which added more and more pain. Someone then whispered near her ears full of despise. Voice showed no mercy as the gritting of his teeth was sensed by Sapphire.
"It's your fucking fault I died. They died. It's your fault!" She saw a bleeding Xenon behind her, his heart was cut out, leaving an empty hole on his chest. His once clear cerulean blue hair was soaked with his own blood, his once luster and clear cobalt eyes now almost crying crimson blood, his once soft, thin lips were covered in red blood from the liquid dripping from his mouth to the tip of his chin. His shaking sword-calloused hands gripped the hilt of his katana as he slowly pierced her chest. Her eyes widen in shock and fear as blood dripped out from her mouth. The pain she was in was not much felt when she knew that Xenon was in much, much more pain.
"You will never reach Nirvana! You will never find true happiness!"
That morning, Sapphire woke up crying...
Again..
Two-days straight from the same nightmare. There was so much more details but Sapphire didn't want to remember it, it was just a short summary. But those.. those eyes were truly relentless.. and it broke the hell out of her.
