They rushed over to check on me. Everyone was searching the room looking for any sign of spiritual activity but they couldn't find anything except me huddled against the wall with the broken cups and crumbled food scattered around me. John had helped me to my feet, gently, and lead me to the bathroom to bandage my hand up. Before he even began to wrap my hand he rubbed a healing lotion that his grandma had once created from natural herbs that sooths burns and heals cuts. The lotion smelt like a forest and it instantly began to relieve some of the burning sensation in my arm. The whole time he was wrapping my arm he continually asked me if he was hurting me in his adorable accent.
"Really it's fine. It's perfect." I said referring back to John's wrap job. He was afraid he wrapped it to tight but it was fine and he was just worrying, which to tell you the truth I didn't mind him worrying about me.
"Ok but if it starts to hurt you'll tell me, right?" His accent was so distinctive, everytime he talked I felt like I should be giggling or something. The door bell rang through the house. I jumped off the bathroom counter and headed to the front door. John followed me out of the bathroom and down the hall to the kitchen.
"You guys invite back up?" I joked with John but when I got to the door I didnt open the door to a backup team, I opened it to reveal the familiar face of my best friend Eric. Eric stood on the porch looking great. He was the kind of guy that looked good in a thin nerdy guy kinda way. Even being a step lower than me he stood a head taller and he was thin; Not stick thin or anything but he was no Monk either. His shaggy blonde hair, almost like John's but calmer, fell in long wisps in front of his calming brown eyes which were framed with those big black 3D glasses from the movies with the lens popped out.
He smiled at me when he saw me but his eyes roamed to my bandaged hand and his smile disappeared. He practically jumped into the house and wrapped his arms around me, which was comforting. He always seemed to comfort me; I mean his is my best friend.
"What happened?" He asked.
"It is a long story." I replied. I snuggled into him until Ky walked in. He looked from me to Eric then he demanded that I introduce him. When he spoke to me his voice was demanding like I wasn't an old friend or a victim but just another member of his crew. I rolled my eyes at him before I had everyone gather together in the living room for introductions.
This is Eric, my best firend," I introduced. Then I introduced everyone else by pointing at them individually. "This is Monk, Mai, Ayako, Masako, Lin, John, and Ky." I finsihed. He greeted them with a friendly smile but frowned when he didn't recieve one back from Ky.
This is the moment that the lights all of a sudden started to flicker and all the doors slammed shut which caused the house to shake violently. I heard all the locks click shut and all the shades shut close which darkened the room. Arianna's scream echoed within the darkness as she was pulled out the front door and locked out.
"ARIANNA!" I screamed after her. On the other side of the door I could hear her screaming my name and the constantly thud as she banged against the door repeatedly.
"What's going on?" I asked. A loud voice answered me right away. I knew it wasn't anyone who was actually in the room. Everyone else seemed to notice it right away too because they all seemed to tense up.
"NO ONE WILL LEAVES THIS HOUSE! YOU ARE ALL TRAPPED HERE!" The voice trailed through the house with an unmistakable hate. Without hesitation Ky stood up and looked up at the ceiling.
"And who are you?" he asked coldly. I felt the temperature in the room drop, but I still couldn't feel the prescence of the spirit.
"LEAVE IT ALONE KAZUYA SHIBUYA. I AM ONLY HERE FOR DELLA," it said. I felt frozen to the spot. Eric wrapped a protective arm around my shoudlers but I was pulled from his reassuring grasp and thrown to the floor a few feet away. I picked myself up a little bit and looked up which caused my hair to fall crazily in front of my face.
