I woke up early the next morning and looked around, wondering I where was. Oh yeah. I was supposed to live in this ugly shack with a selfish, vain devil named Daemyn. Life sucks. Even when you’re immortal...

I reviewed what I was supposed to be doing. Oh yeah...go defeat King Cupcake. With Daemyn! OH JOY! Note the sarcasm. But first, I have to wake up that devil. I went outside, where he was snoring on the couch with his head on my stuff. Which was not surprising.  I went up and put my mouth directly next to his ear and yelled, “WAKE UP!!!” Too bad if I hurt his eardrums. We immortals regenerate damaged tissues at an extremely fast rate, anyways.

“AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!”  Daemyn jumped up from the couch into fighting stance.  Ha!  That was funny.  Daemyn noticed me snickering at him. He narrowed his eyes at me saying, “I’m having second thoughts about hitting on you now.... I wouldn’t want my eardrums to burst at least once a day.”

“Good.”

“Good?  That’s it? I thought you girls would be falling over me when I say that....Maybe not anymore......”

“Whatever.” He ruffled his hair, making it messier, and yawned.  “What’s for

breakfast?”

“I am NOT your maid!  Go find your own food!”

“Fine.  In that case....I know where to find might-be-delicious food!” He said, as Muffybutt shyly walked out of my room.  Daemyn crouched down and held out his two hands as if to give her a hug. “C’mere, c’mere! We all love how you taste!”  Muffybutt stopped in her tracks, looking scared, and started to walk to me instead. I crouched down also and crooned, “I know. Daemyn’s such a cruel person. Come to me instead. I’m nice, aren’t I?”

I glanced at Daemyn. He raised his eyebrows. “See how mean you are?”

“Humph, whatever,” he said as he took his keys from the sofa and headed toward the door, “C’mon, let’s go out to find some food to eat. And leave the useless muffin here.”

“You’re paying!”

“Yeah, whatever. Just hurry the heck up! I’m starving.”

The two of us went out into the parking lot, with Daemyn leading. My mouth dropped when I saw where he was leading me. He had a car?! And a BMW convertible at that! What the heck?! What about me?!

Daemyn looked over at me and smirked. “Jealous?" he asked.

My mouth closed with a snap and I glared at him. “No,” I said, even though I clearly was.

Daemyn grinned. “Yeah right. Eh whatever. Just get in the car. We'll go to the nearest McDonalds around these parts."

I jumped into the front seat of the silver car and closed the door behind me. Jeez. “Why didn't you open the ugly door for me like a true gentleman?” I said. He had absolutely no manners. Boys these days. They have no shame...

“That's not true. I'd only do that if you were my girlfriend. Unless... You want to be my girlfriend?" He said, getting way too close for my comfort. I shoved him back.

He whooped. “YOU TOUCHED ME! I’m getting closer to your heart, girlfriend. Just admit it already.”

"Ew. No. Stay away from me." I snatched the keys from him and shoved them into

the ignition thing. The car rumbled to life and Daemyn shoved me away to drive.

We arrived at the little restaurant about 3 to 5 minutes later. I don't even know why we took the car. We could've just walked. I guess Daemyn wanted to impress all the girls. Show-off.

We got out of the car and walked inside McDonalds. Well, I walked. Daemyn strided in with a slight swagger and immediately attracted the attention of all the girls inside. They all turned to his direction.  He, began to saunter over to them.

“Go get something for me, will ya?  Thanks, appreciate it,” he said without waiting for my response.  He handed me some money, then turned back to the gorgeous girls.

Sure, they were gorgeous, but that didn’t mean that he had to go flirt with them and hand the job of ordering to me. Jerk. I thought he said that he was starving. I smiled to myself. If he was full enough to flirt with a curvy brunette, he didn’t need to eat that much food. Time for revenge.
