I'm currently driving to Warped Tour. I've been waiting for this day for what seems like ages and finally, it's here. I'm extremely excited but kind of nervous, I've heard that the bands sometimes walk around throughout the day. What if I meet my childhood idols? Everything is just too much to take in at the minute. It all seems surreal.

I turn up the volume on my stereo to Neck Deep - Crushing grief, and I begin to mime the lyrics. Only 3 more hours to drive. Kill me.

Finally, I'm here. I turn into the car park and find an empty spot.
"Asshole!" I yell as a car pulls out in front of me. I hate big tours like this sometimes, mainly when they are full of inconsiderate people. So basically all the time. However, I feel this tour is going to be different. I'm on my own this time since none of my friends wanted to come. Oh well, their loss.

I unloaded all my belongings onto the grass and locked my car. There is no way in hell that I'm making two trips just to carry my things. I'd rather my arms fall off or I die trying, then make two trips. I never do anything that involves exercise.

I made my way to the field and began to search for a reasonably sized space, where I could put my tent up. There only seemed to be one suitable space left but it was next to the portable toilets. Ew.
"Fuck it" I mumbled to myself as I approached the empty area. My arms were literally about to drop off at this point. I dumped the bags down and picked up the pop-up tent. Tesco's finest. It's only for me so I don't care.

1 hour later I am finally all set up. I have everything I need; beer, shelter, beer, food and beer. Did I mention beer? I got up and zipped my tent up. It's probably best if I make my way down to the main stage now, since the bands will start to perform soon.

As I walk down the hill I spot a cute little tent that appears to be selling all sorts of typical festival accessories. Like the white girl I am, I bought a flower crown.

I go collect my wristband and head off into the masses of people. I push the anxious thoughts to the back of my mind as I return a smile at a passing guy.

I pushed to the front as All Time Low came into view.
"HELLO EVERYBODY!" Alex shouted down the microphone. My inner fangirl is screaming internally. Oh my gosh. I managed to push myself to the 4th row.

I was singing along to 'Weightless' when it started to get a little too hot. I forced my way out of the crowd and towards the bar.
"What can I get you?" the girl asked. I glanced at her name badge - Bernadette. I held back a laugh.
"Just a cider, please" I answered.
She handed me a pint of cider and I exchanged it for £2.

I made my way outside and found an abandoned bench away from the crowd of people. I necked my cider and threw the empty cup into the nearest bush. I figured it would be nothing compared to the thousands lying around.
"Seriously? The bin is like 20 yards away" said a voice from behind me. I turned around, not really acknowledging his face, and then I faced back forwards.
"Do you mind if I sit here?" he asked as he walked towards me and gestured towards the seat across from me. His voice was deep. However, there was a sweet tone present in his words.
"Not at all, go for it" I said looking up from the table. I stared at him for a moment before realising who he was. It was Ben Barlow. As in, THE Ben Barlow from Neck Deep. What the fuck.

I tried to act casual as he took a seat across from me on the bench. Stay calm Bobbi. Stay calm. He was wearing a plain black hoodie with denim jeans.
"Sorry to interrupt, looks like you were having a great time" he said, nodding his head towards the plastic cup I just threw. A smile started to form on his face.
"Nice sarcasm" I added with a small smile. I locked eyes with his for what seemed like forever.
"I'm Ben" he said as he reached across the table and held out his hand.
"Sorry? Ben who?" I joked. He caught on to my sarcasm almost immediately and he broke a smile, showing his perfectly white teeth.
"Bobbi" I added and I shook his hand.

We sat in comfortable silence for a short while.
"Beautiful isn't it?" Ben said, looking around and taking in the surroundings.
"Sweaty people jumping around, yeah real beautiful" I joked.
"No, I meant the sky" Ben laughed. He let out a little laugh as he looked up at the sky. The sun was now setting. I gazed up at the red sky and smiled to myself. I looked back down and glanced over at Ben who already appeared to be looking in my direction.

We exchanged smiles as he stood up from the bench.
"I best go back to my friends but I'll see you around yeah?" He said, waiting for my reply.
"Yeah sure, see you" I answered. He walked into the distance with his hands in his pockets. Before he disappeared into the mass of people he looked back and waved politely. I waved back with a goofy smile on my face. I kinda hope I bump into him again.

I awoke with a start. I heard a loud thump next to my head. I'm guessing some drunk fell over the strings that are connecting my tent to the ground. I unzipped my tent violently and peered my head outside.
"What the fuck are you do-" I screamed. I quickly ended my sentence as soon as I realised who it was. It was Ben. He stood up almost immediately, drifting from side to side. Yeah, he's definitely drunk. He began to stumble off, merging into the crowd of people that were returning back to their tents. Im guessing he didn't hear me. Phew.

I zip the tent back up and wrap myself into my sleeping bag once again. I want tomorrow to come sooner.
