ITS BEEN 100 YEARS WTC
Montana's pov.
I stand in front of my small closet. I have nothing to wear whatsoever. The clothes hanging there seem like nothing. I groan in frustration after holding up a dress and deciding I do not like it. "How long are you gonna stand there and do that?" Skyler asks me with her arms crossed. I'm surprised she skipped going out with Damon to help me find something to wear. Though she isn't doing a great job.
"I just want to look perfect, but I obviously can't with what I have." I huff. Skyler gives me a look. "Just borrow something of mine," she says. I could but that would sort of risky, she doesn't wear the most modest things..
Skyler walks to her closet and pulls out a black dress that is actually really pretty but I doubt it will look good on me. Its mid thigh length and has a high neck and is sleeveless. I think I have a pair of shoes to go with it. "That's super pretty!" I say as I grab my pair of gold heels. Skyler's face lights up at the sight of them and throws the dress at me.
I strip my clothes off and slip the dress on, asking her to zip up the back. She obliges and I slip on the heels.
Skyler claps her hands as if adoring her masterpiece.
"You look gorgeous. Plus, your hair is already curled so you don't have to worry about that. I want to do your make up though," she tells me and I smile. She does my make up quickly and when I look in the mirror, I look like a completely different person. I sort of like it.
"Are you sure I'm not too overly dressed?" I ask her and she shrugs. "I don't think so. You look perfect. You're going to dinner right?" She asks me. "I think,"
"Wonderful, you don't even know. You could be going bowling for crying out loud." My eyes widen, realizing that I am more than likely too dressed up. Just as I was about to look for something different to wear a knock sounds on our door. I groan in frustration and open the door, smiling a little.
Jacobs face is revealed and relief washes over my body. He's in a dress shirt and black jeans. Thank God.
"You look amazing." He says, looking me up and down. I blush slightly and thank him. "Let's get going, shall we?" He asks and i nod, as we leave Skyler whispers in my ear saying to have fun. In the way she said it I know how to take it but I roll my eyes.
I climb into his car as he starts it. After I buckle up I find myself pulling down my dress several times. It comes up too high for my liking when I sit. Normally I wouldn't mind it but I don't really know Jacob very well so you could say I was a tad bit uncomfortable. Hopefully he doesn't notice.
"So where are we going exactly?" I ask him. He smiles at me but continues to drive. "It's sort of a surprise,"
The way he says it has me nervous. Almost like I should be nervous. But I don't think I should.
"I'm not too dressed up am I?" I ask him and he shakes his head. "No, I think you look perfect." He smiles at me and places his hand on the bear part of my thigh. Butterflies erupt in my stomach when he doesn't remove it. I smile to myself.
Never would I ever think that I would be on a date with him.
Soon, Jacob parks the car outside of a building and there is a bunch of people lined up outside of it, leading up to the door. Suddenly I realize that we are at a club. I'm not even allowed in a club. I'm only 18. "Jacob, I'm only 18. I can't go in there." I tell him before we get out of the car. "Don't worry, I know the guy who owns it." He tells me before he gets out. I follow suit and get out.
"We will go through the back. There's too many people." He tells me and I follow him to the back of the building where there is a door. He holds it open for me and we walk inside. The music is loud. It's so loud that I would have to scream to get Jacobs attention. "Jacob!" He turns in my direction and grabs my hand. He pulls me into the crowd of sweaty people. Some are dancing and others are just talking and laughing with each other.
Jacob leads me to a bar in the front of the building. We sit on a couple of barstools. "Jacob, how ya been?!" The bartender asks him. Jacob smiles at him and makes small talk with him while I'm left just sitting her, observing the people here. I notice a brunette woman eyeing a man who is sitting next to me. She has curly hair that us shoulder length. Her face looks like she has too much make up on and her dress is definity to showy. Her barely there cleavage is mostly uncovered and its sickening.
The man next to me that she has her eye on looks to be about in his 30's and is wearing a a dress shirt and jeans with a blazer. He looks like he hasnt shaved in a while and his hair is messed up.
"Who is this pretty lady?" The bartender that Jacob was talking to interrupts my observations. "This is Montana, we're on a date." Jacob smiles at me and I return it.
"It's nice to meet you Montana, I'm Jared." He reaches his hand out to shake mine. We shake hands and he asks us if we wa t something to drink.
"Um, yeah I'll just have a beer and she'll have one too." He tells him. "On the house!" Jared says. "Jacob, we can't drink. You're only 19." I tell him in hopes he won't drink. I'm not going to because if he doesn't listen someone has to drive home. Plus, it doesn't even sound appealing.
"Hey, it's okay. Just one won't hurt."
He's being very demanding tonight. I never seen him as that kind of person but then again I don't really know him. I wish I could remind myself why I wanted to go on this date in the first place.
I just hope nothing bad happens.
