"Liam!" I chased after him into the boys locker room. He angrily threw his bag on the floor, then banged on the nearest locker.

"They hate me! What I did- Nobody understands!" He hit the locker again.

I put my hand on his shoulder, in a comforting matter. "You need to breathe."

He shrugged my hand off and walked to his locker. "What the hell!" He yelled. "Where's my stick?"

Reality dawned on me as I realized what was going on. Stiles had informed me in on Derek and Scott's little conspiracy, but only a little. I knew it was just to see how had Liam's anger issues were, but I felt they should've done something else.

His head shot up when we heard scraping, getting louder and louder with every passing second. Then appeared Derek himself, holding a lacrosse stick and twirling it in his fingers. "This yours?" He asked Liam, who was beyond angry.

Derek snapped the stick in front of our eyes and threw it at Liam's feet. I looked up at the beta's face, seeing his eyes were glowing golden. "Liam, no!" I began to say as he charged at Derek. The oldest just smirked and grabbed Liam, pinning him against a wall. "Derek, that's enough!"

Liam growled at him as a voice boomed through the room. "Liam!"

"You're right, Scott. He is an angry one." Derek laughed and let the beta fall.

Scott emerged from the shadows, holding a lacrosse stick. "This is yours." He tossed it to Liam, who was settling down but still mad.

"I can't believe you just did that." I told Scott and Derek in disbelief. Scott just stared at the floor.

"In our defense, you're supposed to be keeping him under control." Derek spoke up.

"Derek, you can't even control three betas when you were an alpha, what makes you think one human can control a beta?"

I can tell I hit a soft spot with him. He reached toward me and grabbed my forearm, holding me tightly. "Don't mess with me, Madison." Derek said threatenly.

"No," With one punch in the chest, I pushed him away from me. "Don't mess with me, Derek." He growled at me. "You are forgetting I come from a family who hunts werewolves, right?"

Out of the corner of my eye, Liam's eyes widen.

"Used to." Scott said just as the bell rang. He pointed at me and Liam. "Get to class, both of you. No causing trouble." Liam stomped away immediately.

Just as I was about to walk out, Scott grabbed my wrist. "Keep an eye on him, please?"

"I'll try my hardest. I was born to hunt werewolves, not help them." I joke.

"Well, you better make an exception." Scott grinned.

"I'll think about it." I sang and skipped out the locker rooms, earning a few stares from passing students. "What? Oh don't tell me I'm the first girl to go in there."

They all just continued walking, because even I knew, I'm far from the first girl to go in that locker room.

Once I had realized that the only reason students were rushing to the front of the school was because of Davenford Prep, I sighed and put my lunch in my backpack. Which was mainly gummy bears and a sprite, but still, I call it a nutrious lunch,

When I got to the front of the school, there was a big crowd, and I had managed to squeeze my way to the front. I tapped Mason's shoulder when I couldn't get in front without help, and he made some room so I could stand next to him.
