With and irritated sigh, I tapped my pencil on the edge of my binder, trying to focus on the concept of inverse functions rather than the grumbling of my stomach. I was able to distract myself from the noises of the volley ball court, but not my need for food. I hadn't even eaten breakfast that day, let alone lunch. I was much too busy with school.
"Hey! (F-n)!" cried an innocent ball of sunshine, otherwise known as Hinata, from the court. He was running my way and I set aside my algebra folder. "Are we still up for studying after practice?" he asked. I smiled and nodded.
"Totally. We can study that sheet you got earlier in English." I grinned. However, my stomach growled extra loudly and Hinata laughed. My face flushed with embarrassment and I glared at him.
"Sounds like we should get something to eat at my place then!" He suggested. I rolled my eyes and scoffed.
"I would have had time to eat this morning if SOMEBODY didn't assign so much homework." I said with an annoyed tone of voice, with my irritating and disorganized math teacher in mind. Hinata looked concerned.
"You really should eat on a regular basis, (f-n)..."
Not long after, the boys practice can to an end and everyone began to trickle out of the court. I hauled my two ton backpack over my shoulder as I waited for Hinata to say goodbye to the rest of the team. He turned to me with a smile that could cure cancer and began jogging to the exit where I was waiting. I noticed Nishinoya and Tanaka whispering to one another with devious looks on their faces. What are they up too?
All of a sudden, Tanaka called,
"Hey Hinata! Good luck with the plans with (f-n) tonight!!" Nishinoya snickered behind him as the others looked at Hinata with raised eyebrows. An embarrassed expression grew on the his face, which was covered with a widespread blush. I felt my own face tinge pink. What?
"SHUT UP! I SAID WE WERE STUDYING" he retorted to the dynamic duo. Hinata grabbed my hand, hauling me out the entrance. I wonder what was up with those guys?
"Hey, Hinata. What was that about." I clenched my fist angrily "Are they giving you a heard time. ILL KICK THEIR BUTTS!!"
But of course, to ruin the moment, my stomach growled yet again. Hinata recovered from his embarrassment and laughed, which made me feel a little better."Nah it's fine. They were...er...joking!" He replied. I made an obvious shrug.
"That's Noya and Ryuu for ya. Always joking." Of course, I was a little disappointed. I mean I have had a crush on Hinata for a while now, but I kept it to myself. It seemed pretty obvious he didn't like me in that way. Hinata chuckled and looked away.
"Hehe...yeah."

We finally reached Hinatas house and I shifted my backpack, eager to set it down somewhere. I had started to feel a little dizzy on the way there but I dismissed it as just tiredness. But my gut craved something to eat. We entered his house and I let my bag fall to the floor with a heavy thud and Hinata did the same.
"My mom had to go to my little sisters open house at her school so she won't be here to make us some food." Explained Hinata "Gaaahhhh! And she promised rice balls! Oh well, we have leftovers." And with that he vanished into the kitchen. I smiled at his cuteness I stretched my arms above my head and sighed. Suddenly, everything seemed to spin all at once, like I had been staring into a cloths dryer for too long.
"Wah! Uh, Hinata!" I called frantically and heard someone scrambling from the kitchen. The edges of my vision became blurry and I passed out.
Time Skip
I sat up quickly gasping for air.
"Woah! Calm down, (f/n)!" said a voice beside me. I turned in confusion to see a familiar boy with crazy orange hair. Hinata. I was laying on his couch on the living room.
"W-what happened?" I asked. I felt pain on my forehead and went to touch it until Hinata moved closer and grabbed my wrist.
"Don't touch it. I heard you calling from the kitchen. I ran to go see what was wrong and I heard and thump and then you were just on the floor! You hit your head pretty bad too." He said. I felt a lump forming on my head and it ached a lot. How was I supposed to help Hinata now that I have a headache! I sighed and leaned back on the couch. "I'm sorry Hinata...I really should be a better mentor than this..."
All of a sudden, Hinata grabbed both my wrists and made me turn to face him. He looked almost angry! My face reddened at our closeness.
"You push yourself way to hard, (f/n)!" he exclaimed. "You shouldn't make your grades, or anyone else's, more important than your health! I can't stand the thought of you getting hurt or hurting yourself for the sake of good grades!" I stared at him wide eyed and I knew I was blushing. After a while, a look of recognition passed over Hinatas features and I watched as his face slowly become redder and redder. He now tried to look everywhere but at me, but he was still holding my wrists. My heart leaped at a sudden idea that washed over me.
"Hey Hinata. I don't feel so good..." I said, with slurred speech, trying to mimic dizziness again. Hinatas face turned back towards me again and I leaned forwards as if I was passing out again.
"W-ha! Hey are you ok-" The rest of his words were mumbled as I my lips pressed against his. It felt wonderful. His lips felt so soft and it was an effort not to smile. I felt my face grow pink. We both fell on the couch, me leaning against him. He held my shoulders tightly and I had my eyes shut and my body limp. Very slowly, I opened my eyes sleepily. Hinata looked so surprised and so red that it seemed he would be the one to pass out. Hinatas wide eyes stared into mine until I finally pulled away. Deep maroon covered his face from his ears to his neck. He tried to stutter out a sentence or two but ended up burying his face in the crook of my neck. I laughed and patted his head.
"Hey! Why are you hiding your face!" I chuckled.
"BECAUSE!" he half yelled. I could feel the heat of his face on my neck. God, he was too adorable for his own good. "YOU WERENT REALLY GOING TO PASS OUT AGAIN WERE YOU!?!" I giggled lightly.
"What, you didn't like it?" All of a sudden, Hinata threw his head back up to face me, his face no less red. He squinted his eyes shut tight.
"Of course I did!" He exclaimed. He drew a deep breath. "BECAUSE I THINK I LOVE YOU!!!" It was then my turn to blush uncontrollably. Without warning, Hinata slammed his lips on mine in a very deep kiss. I wrapped my arms around him and I ran my fingers through his thick, fluffy orange hair. After an eternity, we separated and stared at each other, eyes half lidded and blushing. A loud growl interrupted us and I placed a hand on stomach. Hinata chucked. I placed my finger under his chin and drew my face closer. He closed his eyes and a little half smile worked its way onto his face, expecting a third kiss. But instead of kissing him I leaned into his ear and said,
"There is more where that came from if you go get me some food..."
