Forest of The Unknown Chapter : I

It was a gloomy day in sunshine hills. "Elena! Catch," Luis said as he softly threw her a baseball with a fine signature on it. "Thanks," Elena said, not sounding to interested. They really didn't know what they were doing, just having fun on a dark fall day. "Do you know when Marcus will come back?" Elena asked sounding worried as if Marcus was gone for weeks. " I bet he's fine Elena, don't worry," "I am worrying, what if he's drowning at this very instant?" "He wouldn't be that foolish to drown that easily, besides he'll be back soon I promise." Marcus left Elena and Luis, so he could go to the market. Yet Marcus still hasn't came back and it's already two days. "Maybe we should go look for him," Elena Said. " We shouldn't it's dangerous out there, especially the forest that only Marcus knows the path to." Luis was right only Marcus knew, but Elena knew Marcus was hiding a secret from them. Not telling them which path to take or which ones not to take. "I'm going in there" Elena said she was actually scared to go in knowing she could get assassinated in there. "Marcus told me to take care of you Elena, if you're going I'm gonna have to stop you." Luis the 2nd oldest of the three had to obstruct Elena before she goes into the forest. Elena who's the youngest was always adventurous even though her friends always have to stop her. "Fine, if you're not going to let me go I'll have to go myself." Elena sure was worried yet she felt danger in her heart. Luis came close to Elena and put his hands on her shoulder. "We'll go together, I'm also worried about Marcus." Luis and Elena went together into the woods. Strange noises came for every directions as they entered the unknown forest. Full of thoughts Elena's heart was thumping rapidly. Then an enormous shadow cast over them. The moon was covering the sun frantically, seconds later it was completely dark. Silence, Luis drew out his sword and Elena took out here bow and arrow. Light Green eyes appeared in the bushes, it circled around Elena and Luis. " I think we took a wrong turn Elena." More eyes appeared, but their eyes were dark green. "Green eyed monsters..." Luis muttered. Elena shot an arrow at the one of the dark green eyes. Then the red eyes disappeared. Another one speedily came out of the bushes and pounced at Elena, luckily Luis sliced the monster in half. When Elena thought blood was going to pour out of the wolf-like monster it just dissolved into dust. "What is happening..?" Elena asked Luis, thinking he would know. "I don't know, but if these wolves really were controlling we would aim at the source." Then the yellow eyed beast came out of the bushes and so did here followers. "This is not good." Suddenly someone jumped right between Elena and Luis. "Marcus!" Elena shouted, so loudly that the people in the city could probably here her. "Not so loud Elena, we need to be quiet the dire wolves are going to here us." "Dire wolves..?" Elena never heard of such a thing as dire wolves. The first wolf attacked Marcus and he sliced him through the middle. "We need to find the source guys..." Luis murmured to Marcus and Elena. "Right the one with the lighter green eyes is probably the one controlling them, but it looks way larger than the rest." "We have to be careful guys," Luis said bravely. Then all the wolves joint together for one finale attack. "Guys look out!" Elena said as she quickly took out here arrows and starting to shoot them one by one. Marcus and Luis were slicing all the wolves up and dust fell from the sky almost raining sort of. Then something incredible happened, Luis' sword transformed in to what looked like a huge mallet. Luis had no time to inspire the mallet he knew somehow this mallet was going to turn back into a measly sword, so he took action and headed for the giant dire wolf. What he didn't know was that the giant dire wolf had an agility faster than his. Luis' heart was racing the mallet grew more heavier on him, he became more sweaty hot than ever. Luis collapsed right in front of the giant she-wolf.
