******************************

Once upon a time, there was a world of ninjas and war. In this cursed world, lived a man and a woman. The man worked as a ninja for his village, and the woman worked in a bakery. The man, Haruto, had a very special jar. In it, was a link between monsters. Nine different beasts around the world could become one gigantic monster if this link was brought to each of them at once. This pot was thousands of years old. It was cracked and ruined. The link needed a new location. The best place to store the link would be inside of a person...

The woman was part of the Tenshi clan. The Tenshi clan was known for their beauty. Everyone born from this clan was a girl with blue eyes. Each of them had flawless skin, long eyelashes, long legs, short noses, and could never become overweight. Their natural instinct is romance. They can seduce any man in sight.

Their angelic abilities do not stop there. They also have the ability to heal wounds will their tears. Their eyes turn green and drops of green liquid will drop from their eyes to heal the wounds. They can heal anyone except for other Tenshis. One Tenshi born every couple generations, however, cannot heal wounds with tears but revive the dead with blood. If they save them before four minutes have passed since their time of death, they will be revived. There can be only one alive at a time. The last Tenshi to possess this power is now dead.

The two were married, and the woman, Mayumi, became pregnant on their honeymoon. They decided to name their child Aiko, for she was a product of their love. While Mayumi was pregnant, Haruto was in quite a dilemma. The pot was not going to hold the link much longer. The link itself was a monster. Haruto had to seal it into someone. Haruto wanted to be able to constantly supervise this person. The thought crossed his mind one evening when watching Mayumi bake cookies: Why not seal the monster in his daughter?

Haruto did some research and found that jinchurki, people who have one of these nine beasts sealed in them, are never treated well. Many people were afraid of these people, for they feared the monster somehow coming out of them. He couldn't let people be afraid of his daughter. How could he do that to her? He decided to have three other children in room when he was to seal the monster. By doing this, no one would know who was the jinchurki, and they would all be treated equally.

The day after Aiko was born, Haruto did this. It went perfectly. Aiko was fine. Haruto was fine. The other children in the room were unharmed. However, the next day, something terrible happened.

His name was Ryo. He wanted revenge. He decided to steal babies and raise them to be his tools. He would keep them in an underground place. In this place, there were five rooms. There was a small, empty room, a medium sized room for him, a large room for the children, an enormous room for them to train, and a small room to hold miscellaneous supplies. This place was made of cement. The walls, ceiling, and floor were all gray, in every room. There were a few dimly lit light bulbs hanging from the ceiling. A couple were sloppily glued to the wall.

His plan was genius. There were only two ways to get in; a window and a door. It was very similar to a cellar door. It had two wooden doors that were hidden by a large bush and tucked between two large trees. The window was on the other side of the base. It rose up slightly. It was still on the wall, but it was basically on the ceiling. No one would be able to find it. The ground above it was a large forest between two large villages. It was used as a training center that only opened once a year.

So, two days after Aiko's birth, Ryo stole twenty children, all under the age of two, from all around the world. Who would suspect a connection if it happened from all over the world? Ryo was fast and accomplished this without a problem. One of the children Ryo stole was (You guessed it.) Aiko Tenshi. He slipped into her bedroom and snatched her out of her pink crib. Aiko did not cry. She simply stared blankly at Ryo as he took her far away from that warm home.
