Calum

It was one in the morning. Luke left the apartment around eleven and I left half an hour after him. I could be in that place. I couldn't look at Karlie because she could barely look at me. I can't keep up a conversation with Luke because it means having to talk about Karlie. Ashton hates me, Michael says he hates us all. I can't go to Becca's because Jamie will be there and I don't want him near me. I don't want him near Talia, or Becca actually. I don't want her calling her Bex and I don't want him touching her or my daughter. I don't want him in any of our lives. Yet he is.

So I am here. It was the club I went to for the first time after Becca and I's break up. I came with Michael of course. That was back when he was my wingman. Now I am alone, getting dizzy from the drinks and dying from self-pity. I hate this. I fucking hate this. This is not what having a kid is supposed to be like, this isn't how you are supposed to feel. Maybe if I was more careful and wasn't such a fucking man-whore this would never have happened. Maybe, just maybe, I would've gotten married. It might of been Becca, if I was lucky maybe even Karlie, but I would've been married and then I would have a baby. I would have a kid that I would've known about from the start and not one I would've found out about two years later, so that she doesn't actually know me.

"Fuck." I slam my fist against the high table of the bar. The empty glass next to my hand falls and rolls off the table top, smashing on the tiled floor. The bar tender and a few other sitting at the bar look at me. "What?!" I glare back. "I'm having a shitty day! Alright?!" The bartender was called Keith. He knew me quite since I had been a regular before the days I could legally drink. He gives me a sad look.

"Maybe it's time you go home Cal," he tells me. "Give me your phone, I'll get Mikey or Luke to come get you and take you home to your place."

I let out a cold laugh. "I don't live with those dicks anymore, I was practically ran out of my own home," I say with cruelty. "And as for actually leaving I'd rather not." I smirk. "I'll take another shot. Tequila this time, fuck vodka." I snap my fingers at Keith and he shakes his head.

"No Calum." He says sternly. "I'm cutting you off. No more."

"Ha!" I yell with disbelief. "You're kicking me out?" I slur out the words in a flurry of anger as well as hurt. "I've seen you let guys much worse than me stay in this shit hole."

Keith gives me a disappointed look. "Come on, Calum." He moves around the bar to get me off the stool. "Let's go."

Keith shakes his head before trying to grab me by the shoulder and drag me off the seat. I basically throw myself out of his grip and onto the floor. I smirk up at him with pride, thinking I have won. Then I realize I am in fact off the seat and Keith is now bringing me up to my feet, which does more harm than good as my legs buckle under my own weight and I pull us both down now. Keith curses at the struggle I've caused but I can't help but laugh at it all. Everyone was staring now and it was fucking hilarious. I shove Keith off me and stand up quickly, my feet moving all by themselves.

"Calum, I swear to god!" Oh man, he was angry now. Somehow this just made it so much funnier. The red face and flared nostrils made me laugh even more. "Why the fuck are you laughing?" Keith gets to his feet and grabs me by the collar, rather roughly. This makes my laugh silence and instead I gulp.

"Listen... mate..." I say nervously.

The volume of Keith's voice grew louder and louder with every word. "You stupid, little, fucking-"

"Calum!" Someone shouts my name. "Thank god I found you here!" I knew the voice but couldn't quite place it with a face. It wasn't one of the guys, it was female. But who if it wasn' Karlie, Becca, Bella or Mia? They were behind me, however it was. Keith's grip on my relaxed as he spotted the person who apparently found me.
