Sebastian looked away. "I guess. I was just hoping for a normal relationship. One where we don't have to keep everything a secret."
Frowning, Ciel told the older boy, "We're gay. That means we're different; weird. You expect people to let us have a normal relationship?"
"You're right. Still, that doesn't mean I won't fight back." Ciel blinked. He was shocked by Sebastian sudden new determination; he could have sworn he saw the older boys eyes flash red. Sebastian sat up straighter in the hospital bed. "Haters better watch out." He grinned mischievously.Ciel laughed. "You really are something, you know that?"
"You think so?" Sebastian's eyebrows were raised, causing Ciel to blush.
"W-well, uh, yeah." He stumbled over the words.Sebastian didn't reply; just looked at Ciel with content in his eyes.
"What?" asked Ciel. "That blush is hella adorable." He smirked.
The younger boys cheeks went from red to redder, and was saved from responding when a nurse came in to check on Sebastian.
She glanced over at the short blunnette. "Still here? It's already-" she looked at her watch, "10:05!" "5:10." Sebastian corrected the far sighted nurse, making her become flustered on embarrassment.
"Either way, I'd better get going." Ciel put in, and when the nurse wasn't looking, gave his new boyfriend a quick kiss goodbye. He turned to leave, still blushing; an overwhelming feeling of happiness washing over him.-

It'd taken about a week since Ciel had visited for Sebastian to get out of the hospital. Ciel had insisted Sebastian stay with him, since the black haired boys previous home was now just a pile of ash. However, they'd run into a minor problem. "We HAVE to go search for my cat."
Ciel groaned. When was Sebastian going to understand that he was allergic? "And if we find her? Where is she going to stay? We can't keep her here."
"I'll keep her away from you! I promise! You'll never have to pet her!" The older boy argued.
"That's not the point!" Ciel shot back. "Her fur will be all over the couch cushions and the bed and..." He paused, a new idea coming to mind. "Where are you going to sleep? I've only got one bed." Sebastian smirked. "With you, of course." "No way." Ciel shook his head. "I don't know you that well." 'Plus it'd be really embarrassing if I have one of my nightmares again.' He thought. "But bocchan..." Sebastian frowned, referring to Ciel by his new nickname. "I said no. You'll sleep on the couch."
The older boy smirked. "Only if you promise to help me look for periwinkle."
Ciel sighed. "Alright. Fine." He'd have to sort out the details about the cat later. "Thank you, bocchan!" Sebastian wad delighted. He wrapped his arms around the younger boy and lifted his feet off the ground.-

They'd looked for the cat everyday after that. As the sun rose, Sebastian would drag Ciel out of bed and the blunette was forced to eat his breakfast, and take his medication on the way. Everyday they searched, and everyday they found nothing.
"Give it up." It pained Ciel to see the hurt on his boyfriend's eyes when he said that. "Once something is lost, you can never get it back."
Sebastian sighed and looked over the blackened wood and ghostly frame of the house. Yellow caution tape prohibited the two boys from actually entering the site, but that brought comfort to Ciel, as he feared that what they might find in there would break Sebastian's heart.
The older boy turned away. "I guess you would know." He started to walk towards the apartment. "But periwinkle was a good cat. She'll come back. Eventually." Unsure how to comfort him, the younger boy slipped his small hand into Sebastian's. The older boy shot him a thankful smile, and gave his hand a squeeze.
