The Other World

-Chapter 15-

Mia's POV.
I woke up early in the morning, which is surprising since I was in a life or death fight with me ex boyfriend. 

Gotta love my life huh?

I lay in my bed think if what I want to do. What do I want to do? I have training today, but that's not till 3:00. Oh I can explore!

'Talking to yourself sis?' Spencer buds in.

'Shut up! Wanna go exploring?' I say I a convincing tone.

'Eh, fine whatever meet me downstairs in a hour' she said as if she was shrugging.

'You got it' then I block her off so I can get ready.

I do my usually shower routine and walk to my closet for something to wear.

I want to wear something cute but not too cute and I want to be comfortable and look sporty. But not too sporty.

I finally decide on some grey and black joggers and a white crop too with some nikes. An I pull my hair into a messy bun.

Why do messy buns take so much time? I mean, it's a messy bun...

I begin to walk down stairs when Blake comes behind me and scares me half to death.

I hit his arm playfully. "Don't do that!" He smirks and picks me up and spins me around.
"Am I interrupting? Because weren't we supposed to be doing something?" Spencer says tapping her foot. "Oh cool you both are going exploring? I have to warn you guys. Do not, and I repeat not go into the woods. Where having work done with the plumbing. It's not pretty..." He looks down at his feet.

"Okay? Let's go spence." She picks up her bag and walks to the main entrance. "You you got lost just ask any random person. They will point you here!" Blake screams at us as we leave. "Okay! We're leaving now!" I roll my eyes smiling.

"Awww someone's love sick. Did u get it from the lovebirds?" Spencer pinches my cheeks. "Spence, there are no love birds. But yeah maybe I-" she cuts me off. "No seriously there are love birds. See." She points to a tree. It's a deep plum red bird with a white heart on there stomachs. I shrug. "Well that's the first."

"Come on let's go to.. The.. Ah yeah the park!" Spencer says linking her arm through mine. "Your such a big kid." I say starting to walk. "We're big kids. Not just me." She snaps. Okay, are you mad? Or?

"No I am not mad, just come on I want to go to the park!" She stomps her foot. Yup definitely mad. I say to myself but blocking her off so she can not hear me.

As were walking I see a bunch of people dressed in red. They look like guards. But why would there uniform be red if the kingdoms colors are blue and gold?

"Spence?" I say taping her arm to pull her attention from her phone. "What?" She ask annoyed. "The kingdoms colors are blue and Gold right?" She nods I'm response. "Okay then why are they dressed in red?" I question. She looks at our surroundings as do I. They all seem to be surrounding the park.

'Blake. Get to the park as soon as you can with some back up I don't know what's going on..'

'Okay I'll be there in 2 minutes tops. If you need to run. Go to the woods by our house.'

'Didn't you tell me not to go there? Plumbing work correct?'

'Yes but that's how you will loose them.' Then he cuts me off. Rude. Not really though.

The guards in red seem to be closing in on us.
"Mia Black you need to come with us. Prince Conner would like to meet with you in his kingdom." One guard said. Spencer taps my arm and points with her eyes to start running. Which I do.

I start running my way back to the the house in time to see Blake coming with a load of people. Just before I got to call out to him I'm hit with a black shadowy cloud of mist. And it hurts bad.

I fall to the ground screaming my head off. And for some reason Spencer is too. I try to look back but my body will not allow me. Soon I shut my eyes and let the darkness consume me.

I wake up to bright lights. And a beep of an hospital monitor. I jolt up looking around. Blake, my parents are standing around. I also notice Spencer is unconscious beside me in another hospital bed.

"What happened?" I say in a low whisper. Blake grabs my hand then pulls me into a kiss. In front of my parents too. About after a minute he pulls away but still holds my hand.

" We were so worried about you. All of us were worried." I look up at blake's face and noticed that he looks like he hasn't slept in weeks. "Why do you look so tired. I was only here for a few hours right?" I said trying the lighten to mood. My mother steps in. "No sweetie. You were in here for about half a month, in a coma."

"What?!" I yell. "What happened to me? To us? Why is Spencer on up yet?" I yell once again. The beeping of the monitor starts going ecstatic. A nurse soon comes in trying to calm me down. "Honey, please just calm down. Lay down and we call all talk about this." She says trying to force me down. "Lady, if you do not remove your hands away from my shoulders-" I yell at her. More nurses and even doctors come into the room. Forcing me to lay down. I don't see why all of this is called for.

"Okay, everyone get away from her! I will call her down." He pushes the nurses and doctors away. "Okay Mia, baby, can you lay down so your blood pressure can come down? I'll explain what happened and we will get answers okay?" I nod and lay down.

"Okay can we please have a moment alone?" Blake says looking at everyone in the room including my parents. They nod and exit the room. "What's wrong with Spencer, why did she not awaken yet." I say sitting up facing him. "I'm not very sure yet. One of those guards hit you both with a spell. By observation we believe that it could have added something to you and your sisters DNA. They took test we are waiting for the results." He said. "So they are trying to mess with our DNA?" I tilt my head. 'Can you hear me?' I ask mind speaking. 'I sure can' he smiles. Which I return. I look over to Spencer.

'Spencer you have to get up. We need you to be up Conner can not win.' I tell her. 'I am up! I just do not have much strength to actually talk. My eye will not allow me to open then and I feel something growing in me.' My eyes go wide.

"Blake she's awake but not awake. She can only mind speak." I clap my hands. "She's awake, okay we need to get her up and moving so me can figure out what's going on." He said standing up. "Well she said she feels something growing inside of her. I'm not sure what though." I add, he nods. "Okay we need to get both of you guys test back." He sat back down getting ready to push. But the nurse already barges into the room without knocking.

"Um care to knock next time?" Blake says irritated. "Blake calm down. They don't mean any harm." I smile to him.

"Sorry prince Blake. We have the results for Spencer." She motions over to Spencer. "Mia's are in process." She sets the papers in the tables, nods her head and exits the room.

I look over at Spencer noticing a dim light shining from her. As in the light was coming from her. What is happening to us?
