"So, where are we going?" I ask to no one in particular.

"We were told to follow them, that's what we're doing." Kyle responds.

I sigh, looking out of the window. Asleep beside me was Calum, and the three in the backseat including Ryder, my sister, and Alyssa were also sleeping. I yawn as I glance back to the dark road. The rain, just beginning to drizzle down onto the truck and roll down the windows taunts me because of how thirsty I am right now.

The supplies we packed are all tied down and covered with about three tarps and some duct tape to ensure that none of the things we packed will get soaked with the rain. I never thought about how much I appreciated the weather channels that told me the weather for the next week. Now, I only know what the weather is right when it's happening!

While I wasn't completely onboard with packing up our entire lives before that day that they attacked, I appreciate the fact that we did pack so heavily. I'm not sure that any of us could have predicted we'd lose the vault. However, I have my sister back, and having her is worth more than that place anyway.

They said we would find a place to go and that we'd be fine, but I wasn't so sure that we would be when we got there. I mean, we had the perfect living place and we lost it! We completely lost our home.

Looking over, I see Calum sleeping, which by the way is one of the most peaceful things I've seen. It almost seems to relax me just seeing him. Still confused about the whole kiss deal, and the holding hands, I think to myself whether I want to be in a relationship with him. Back before the fall, he was the guy I would never even think of dating, much less talking to. He would have been out of my league then, but now that he likes me, I almost think I like him even more than he likes me (if he does even like me)

After offering once more to drive for a while, Kyle declines once again. So I decide that I should close my eyes for a bit and try and get some rest.

I lean my head on Cal's shoulder and take a deep breath, the cool air from the vent blows the stray hairs coming down from my fish-tail braid my sister did a little while ago.

Then I let my eyes stay closed and a deep sleep encloses me from all directions, egging me to fall deeper into a dream.
