One heck of a day

"Ok, good. Stay here while I grab you a bandage." Will turned to do just that. Gods, this was so boring. Sitting in the infirmary while he checks over me, double checks and triple cheks.
"Can I get up?" I asked
"No," he replied without turning.
"Can I do something?"
"You can be quiet and sit still for two seconds," he said.
"Very funny."
"Arm." He wrapped the white bandage around my werewolf cuts and homemade stiches. He pulled it tighter so my veins popped.
"Ow. Why so tight?" I gripped it.
"So it can heal properly. Any other serious injuries I need to look at?" He frowned.
"No."
"You sure?" He raised an eyebrow.
I nodded.
"Okay then. You're free to sleep until dinner. Have a blast," he turned away.
"Seriously? Just sleep? Can't I do something?"
"Count sheep. Count cows. I don't care, just don't get out of that bed," he said firmly.
"Boring."
"Have Jason or Percy for company. I don't care as long as you don't move. Now, I have to go clean my cabin and you better be here when I get back. I mean it." He walked out of the infirmary and over to the Apollo cabin.
Already bored, I looked for ways to entertain myself. Nothing. I drummed my fingers, tried to loosen the bandage, fixed my hair, everything until finally Will came back.
"Good. You're still here. Now, Austin gave me a book for you to read. Read it. Every single word. Here." He dropped a book into my hands.
"The..Lightning...Thief? Really?"
"Either that or you sit here for the rest of the-"
"CHAPTER ONE," I said above his voice.
He grinned. "Be a good little patient and read the book."
I didn't notice when he left, or when he checked to make sure I was still there, or when he called me for dinner. He snapped his fingers right next to my ear, making me jump.
"Nico! It's time for dinner. You've been reading that book all afternoon. Is it good?" He helped me up.
"Well, there's a Percy, a Annabeth, a Grover, a Chiron, a Mr.D, the gods, Clarisse, so..it's very realistic.I'm just hoping they have a Nico that doesn't get a screwed up life like me." I ran a hand through my hair.
"Your life's not screwed up," he said,
"Really?"
"Yeah, you seem to be able to hold yourself together, you have friends, a sister. Anyways, Meet me back at the infirmary after dinner," he patted my shoulder and walked over to the Apollo table.
I went over to the Big Three table. Jason, Percy, and I always sat together there. I grabbed a plate with a burrito on it and sat down.
"Yo, bro. What's up?" Jason greeted me.
"Nothing really," I said.
"Hey, you wanna tell Jason the joke you told me last night?" Percy asked.
"You told a joke? I'm so proud of my little bro," Jason smiled.
I rolled my eyes.
"How's the sea?" I asked, changing the subject.
"Cold."
"Ha ha."
"How's the infirmary?" Jason took a bite.
"Boring."
"How's your doctor?" Percy flicked his eyebrows up and down.
"Knock it off," I said, trying not to blush.
"He's totally checking you out right now. Don't look," Jason said.
"Is he your type?" Percy whispered.
"Gods, Percy. Let it go," I said, taking a bite of my dinner.
"I think he's gay. Maybe bi," Jason mumled.
"Can't you two just eat with pleasant conversations for once?" I asked.
"NOPE!" They both yelled cheerfully.
"Seriously-"
"I dunno, they seem kinda opposite-y to me," Jason shrugged.
I stared at him. "Opposite-y?"
"I'm no son of Apollo but I can rhyme." They high fived.
"Where's my sword?" I asked.
"So, how are things with Annabeth?" Jason quickly asked.
"Great actually. High school starts in a little bit so we're just prepping. One more year of dreaded high school then college then..who knows? Maybe a family-"
"HADES NO!" Annabeth yelled from across the room.
"Maybe not," Jason mumbled.
"Why don't people cuss without my father's name? Seriously," I said.
"How's Piper?"
"Pretty good. She's talking to her dad more. How's your life, Nico?" Jason asked.
"Eh."
"Eh?" He repeated.
"Not good, not bad. Father hasn't called me down yet. He said he had a new helper that could take care of things for me for a while. Since she's demigod she'll eventually be released to the upper world," I shrugged.
"Wait, your dad is holding a demigod hostage in the UnderWorld?" Percy questioned.
"He kidnapped a god before. This is nothing. He was very vague about the details though. Saying she was a fighter and would go down hard. Can't wait to meet her."
"So...you have a sister?" Jason asked.
"Arianna Thrasher, seventeen years old," I whispered.
"Stalk much?" He mumbled.
"Shut up, she shouldn't be here for another...gods that's her!"
Across the camp a girl stood. She had pale skin, long black curly hair with a pink streak in the back, light brown eyes and a small backpack behind her. She met my eyes and grinned.
"Arianna Thrasher. Pleased to meet you."
