Harry and I began to talk a bit less and I felt deeply disappointed in that. Not long after school got out I started washing dishes at Poalthlocks. At first I was a bit nervous because I kept on getting pressed by Evan that I had to be fast. Jennifer always scoffed and told me to not listen to him. I just need to be steady. After my first night of officially working my boss pat me on the back and gave me many compliments on how well I was.

Aunt Jennifer gives much better advice than Uncle Evan.

Uncle Evan said he would be parked on the side of the building where the dumpster was located. He must have borrow Aunt Jennifer's car for gas money purposes because her car was parked where Evan said it would be. I opened up the door to the passengers seat and sat down releasing a loud, tired sigh.

"So how was your first day?" Uncle Evan asks.

"I had a blast!" I say smiling perking myself up in my seat. "Tiring, but I had a lot of fun. It wasn't too busy today but just enough to keep me going."

"That's just what I hoped for." He says smiling back at me and starting the car. Today I worked from 11:30AM to 8:30PM and these will be my hours 3 days a week for the rest of the summer. In my free time away from washing dishes I'll be refilling the salts, peppers, ketchups, and chopping up fruits and vegetables. Along with that, I will be sweeping and mopping floors along with stocking shelves.

Many stars were spread across the sky. One endless black of nothingness beautifully flawed with thousands of small sparking lights. If all of the stars were collected into a simple coin jar, it would shatter into dust just adding to infinity of sparkles in the sky tonight. So much light cannot be compressed into such a tiny space. It needs to shine it's brightness to the world.

Although I did off and on enjoy school, I was very entertained with work. The fact that I was literally getting paid nine dollars an hour was good enough but doing something that I do almost everyday in a different setting is something else. This isn't one of those stereotypes where the women is always supposed to be in the kitchen. No, I actually enjoy this.

Feeling proud, happy, and productive, weeks have gone by and the summer was almost over. On my days off I played my guitar a lot more than I have over the past school year. Uncle Evan helped me upgrade my guitar so I'll be able to learn a lot more skills and techniques at a much easier rate.

Most of the songs I practiced with were from my Aunt and Uncle's song books from the music they played once in a while. Some of the songs are old and some of them are relatively new.

As July came along though, I have discovered Harry did indeed keep his promise. Him and our mother started hosting Skype video calls. We all had plenty to catch up on. At times I'll play my guitar for them. I've learned a few songs that I absolutely loved. I'd always smile so widely when they'd compliment me on my song choices and my guitar picking.

"Oh, look at those dimples!" Our mother would exclaim. "Just like yours, Harry!"

She'd pinch his cheeks making Harry uncontrollably smile more.

"It's almost as if we are twins." I say.
