Another morning , another opportunity, ..

- Jake , Do u wanna go and watch a super bowl game on Friday ? - Dad asks while sitting at the dinner table ..

- absolutely Dad ! I would love too ! I can't barely remember last time we had a "father and son day" .. I would Love too spent some more time with u . - I answered back

- well , I can't either.. - that says as he laughs

Dad is my best friend . He's always there for me , he's basically the best dad u could ask for !! U can't ask for a better dad..

Three months later

- JAKE?? JAKE !? JAKE COME TO THE HOSPITAL NOW!! - mom screams in the phone

- MOM WHY !? - I ask

- u... Ur ... Dad .. - mom says before I drop the phone in tears

I ran downstairs I placed my jacket at my shoulders I barely couldn't put my shoes on because I was shaking soooo bad ...if something happens too my dad ... I don't how I would ever forgive myself for not being a better son ... I love my parents with all my heart and I can't loose him , I really can't

At the hospital

- MOM !? MOM ?! Please talk too me ! - I scream while the tears slowly touches my lips

- I'm sorry Jacob I'm soo sorry sweetie ... - mom says while petting my chin

- mom tell me .. What did dr. Henson say ? - i say while my stomach is crumbling together

- he has ... **tears streaming down her face** .. He has cancer - she says while slowly coming towards me And hugs me ....

- Mom ? No ! He's not leaving me !! - I say while Hugging my mom back

- Where is he !? - i asked

- he's in there - she says

I take I deep breath and open the door slowly while seeing my dad laying and crying on the hospital bed ..

- Dad ? We are going too get thru this .. Together.. U , me , Lilly and mom .. I won't stop fight for u dad ! I will never let go, none of us will . - i told him while running up too him and hug him

- thanks Jacob , i Will never Leave u and Lilly .. And mom - he says while he hugs me back

I got back too my mom .. I can't believe I this .. I hope I wake up from this nightmare.

**** next morning****

I get downstairs.. My mom is sitting on the table , alone ...

- where is dad ? - I said like nothing had happened yesterday

- u know where he are ... - mom answers back

- yeah mom .. I just can't take the fact that he have ca .. U know - I said while my heart is on fire

- me too sweetie, me too - mom says while smiling

- Mom , I want u too know that even if dad is sick we are not going to give him up ... We need too be strong now , we are all he has left from the fire .. - I said while tear drops is falling down

- I won't give up , he is more than my husband he is my best friend , i won't met him Leave us - mom says While she's running towards me and whipe my tears
