Chapter 1

"We crown you the new queen of Manos, Delta!"
Bursts of screams explodes into the air in celebration, for the new queen has been selected. Me. I was chosen by then falling star that passes my planet every 350 years, and drops stardust into the skies. Whoever the stardust floats to is the new ruler of the land. One cold night, I opened my window to see the comet pass by and its grace was beyond anything I had ever seen. Then it disappeared, leaving a trail of stardust behind, searching for the new ruler of the land. I started becoming curious when the dust started to float in the direction of my city. I ran over to my dresser and hurriedly grabbed the binoculars to see where exactly it was going. The glimmer the dust gave off in the light of Trantos, our moon, was very distinct. The powder slowly drifted through my town, searching for a worthy holder. I stuck nearly my whole body out the window trying to look for the dust. I climbed out even further to see where it was, yet I still couldn't see it. Suddenly, I lost my balance and fell out of my window, falling towards the ground, frozen solid with winter ice. The fall seemed to last forever until something caught me before I hit the ground. It was the stardust. It filled my body, instantly causing a surge of cold energy flow through my body, enacting an annual shockwave throughout the world, introducing the new queen, Delta.
