Chapter 1
DING
My phone goes off. I get up and look at it. Another blank message from the same unknown number. Some unknown number has been texting me blank messages for quite a while now. But they only happen once in a while. I look at the time.
"2 IN THE MORNING 3 DAYS AFTER THE END OF SCHOOL!" I yell furious. "JUST LET ME SLEEP UNKNOWN PERSON!" I slam my phone back down on my side table. I shove my face in my pillow and groan.
I look at the time on my phone again. 4:00 I read it feels like it has been only 10 minutes!
My stomach growled quite loudly. I threw my legs over the end of the bed and got up. I walked out of my room and down the stairs into the kitchen.
I get a bowl and a box of cereal out of the cupboard. I make my way to the fridge and get the milk out. I set the bowl on the counter and fill it with cereal and milk. I get a spoon out from a drawer and sit down in front of my cereal bowl. I shove some cereal in my mouth and look out the window. It's still pitch black out but the light from the moon keeps it a bit lit up.
I finish my cereal and put it in the sink. I walk to my back door and open it. The cold breeze hits my face. I quickly scurry and grab a blanket. I make my way back to the door and go outside. I lay on the couch we have out there.
My Collie, Sammy, jumped up and laid down with me. She wasn't a black and white collie she was one of those brown, grey, black, and white ones.
"Hi baby girl." I say and run my fingers through her fur. She lifts her head and licks my hand. I let out a small giggle and set my head back on the pillow. I thought I saw a pair of eyes on me before I black out.
