Across the sea, upon a wave
In the sunset's light
In a boat, sits a sailor
Waiting for starlightHe lost his lover to feel the wind;
Lost his daughter to kiss the sea;
He lost
His family.In the moon's light he remembers
What he has lost.
He has nothing more to give but his life,
And life has taken too high a cost.Lost in memories,
Thinking of those he lost;
Stranded on a boat
Thinking of those he loved;All hope to him was lost,
All was lost.Somewhere, across the sea,
Upon a bed, in the moonlight,
Is his little Annebelle,
Dreaming of the sea...
