Waves

The vast blue sea washes in memories of you,

The moments you teased me,

The moments we fought,

The pain of betrayal.

I'll make a new tide turn.

The wave of blood coursing in me as I run,

The crash against the corner I turned too quickly,

The breeze as I open the door.

Then, the rain.

The flood of apologies and forgiveness wash away the past.

Now I'm by the vast blue sea, making new memories as I sit hand-in-hand with you.
