It was about 12pm when I crawled into bed, I was emotionally and physically exhausted from school. With me being the new girl and people thinking I was dating someone I just met things were very complicated. But I couldn't get the image of Leith out of my head his body, hell my mind was trying to imagine what he looked like without a shirt. I pulled the cover over my body and sighed smothering my face into the pillow drifting to a peaceful sleep. Dreaming of things I thought were impossible, never going to happen or something that could happen.
I sat up breathing heavily running my hands through my hair looking over to my right at my clock. It read 4 pm. I sighed and looked around and saw a pair of eyes staring at my own, the eyes were a distinguished purple pair. I rubbed my eyes and they disappeared. I shrugged it off as nothing and picked up my phone and saw I got text messages from a number I didn't know.
I texted "who are you?" Curiously as I walked out of my room and walked up stairs into the kitchen
"It's me Luka!"
"How did you get my number?" I texted back drinking some water
"The schools file systems needs a new pass" someone else texted
"That Blevin" Luka texted
"Who all is in this chat?" I sent walking down the stairs into my room
"Everyone from lunch and I got Leiths" Blevins texted along with a winky emoji
"Oh." Was all I texted but I jumped when something opened the door to the basement, my room was in the basement, "who's there?" I said getting out of bed slightly
"Don't worry I just want to talk." A familiar voice called out of the darkness
"Leith?" I asked slowly trying to find the light switch "how did you get into my house?" I said tripping when I turned the lights on and landing on Leith
"You okay?" He asked his hands around my back looking into my eyes
"I uhm yes but how did you get into my house?" I stuttered the first part still laying on top of him
"You aunt let me in" he said sitting up slightly, making me sit on his lap
"At 4pm really?" I laughed slightly blushing from him staring into my eyes
"She was running around the block and I asked for a key." He said calmly
"Why are you here anyway" I said getting off him and walking to the couch in front of my tv
"I wanted to make sure you were safe." He said protectively sitting next to me
"After 1 day of knowing me you want to know if I'm safe?" I laughed slightly turning the tv on
"Yes." He started "I feel very.... Protective over you and I don't necessarily know why." He sighed running his fingers through his hair.
"You know if this incident gets out people are gonna think we're dating even more now." I blushed at the thought of dating him
"Let rumors spread." He said with the smallest smile "I wouldn't mind it anyway"
My face was a bright red and I didn't know what to say. "Do you want to hang out today?" I asked looking up at him
"What would we do?" He asked
"We could go get coffee, go to the mall, or just hang out here." I said with a small shiver
