As a beam of light struck my face,I squinted to open my eyes to mum. As usual,she opened the blinds as a gesture for me to get my ass off the bed. Just as I was folding my sheets a gentle kiss was placed on my forehead.
"Mornin dad" I said,slowly looking up.
"Morning Alisha, all set?" he said slowly walking up to me.
"For?"
"Looks like someone forgot about their college already" he said smiling and walked away with mum.
Only then I remembered that i had to head to the airport pretty soon.
I rushed to the washroom and got ready. I got out in about 15 mins and saw that my outfit had already been planned and was on top of my suitcase. I put on the skinny black jeans and a tee and walked out the room with my suitcase and my leather jacket in my hand.
I gave my self a face palm and walked back in to get my phone and purse.
Just as I was walking down for breakfast I heard someone slam the door. Someone had come in.
" Alan?"
"Yes shortie,breakfast is ready"
"Don't u da---" just as I was going to finish he greeted me with his lovely hug and his cologne hit me.
" jaguar again mate?"I said laughing at him
"As I was SAAAYING I'm almost ur height ok,I'm not short"
"I'm 6'5 and ur like what? 2 feet" he said smirking
" maaammmaa where are you" I looked away from him with a grin.
"Patience love" Alan said still smirking.
" food's ready!" Mum said as she walked towards the dining room.
As we were almost done with breakfast,I broke the silence to say "Why are u here anyway Al" (alan)
"You both are in the same college,so I thought it would be a good idea for him come along with you" dad said smiling at me ,then looking down at his plate and walked away.
"You see, babies need to be accompanied" Alan said catching up with dad's pace.
" Ya right" I rolled my eyes at him.
"The uber guy will be here soon,hurry up Alisha"
" yes maaa"
