The Rising Enemy

(Guns firing, demon beasts crunching, UFOs blasting) "This is bad.'' Then Zen, the general, grabbed the soldier at his side. ''Cap'ain, I want ye' to hold the attack. I'm gonna leave mah' troops. I'm gonna go to a place where there's a phone coz' the radio's jammed.'' Then he stood up and headed outside the battle. He looked back and saw a demonic beast, a red skinned bear-like beast that has sharp claws and teeth and scales looped over a barricade and ate a soldier. Then headed fast out the battle, not looking back anymore.

He reached the ashen city, one mile from the battle. The battle is still seen. He walked around, finding an operating phone. The city was a battle field lately until the soldiers pushed the enemies back. The city was on fire, broken and some burning cars messed the road and broken pieces of glass from structures lying on the ground. The city was so quiet. He founded dead bodies of both enemies and his men lying on the ground. He found a convinence store. Luckily, it has an operating phone. The phone is deep inside of it and the damaged part of the store was outside of it. He headed in then picked up the phone. Then he typed the number of his base. The phone ringed and someone picked it out. ''Hello, this is Zen Yatzu. I request back up immidiatly.'' He waited for a reply but he could only here the war outside the city. Then later, he heard something in the phone. ''HE--------'' Zen was about to say what is happening there but the call ended. ''Damn. Not my base too.''

He got back to the battle and ordered a retreat. A few soldiers was left. Some soldiers was unable to escape the alien's blasts and the raging demons. He found an operating tank but the driver and the shooter of it were dead. He was about to use that tank but some of the soldiers rode it and then the UFOs blasted it to ashes.'' You men! Retreat in the city!'' He said while looking at the soldiers. They all followed the orders. ''If mah' base is destroyed, then I shall make a hide out.''
