Chapter 1

It has been nine months since Samantha left La Push.

Nine months since she's been away from her brother.

Nine months since she's been away from her imprint.

The hybrid stared at herself through the mirror, her eyes raked down her body as she inspected the outfit she was debating to wear or not.

Letting out a groan of frustration, Samantha ran her fingers through her thick brown hair that was surprisingly still growing. Derek as well as the rest of the guys would tease her about how she was becoming Rapunzel two point oh. Of course they would all end up with bruises on their arms from the hybrids brutal punches but she did agree that she was beginning to look like a brunette version of Rapunzel.

"Hurry the hell up Uley!" Dani voice boomed through the hallways and entered the hybrids room.

"Don't fuck with me when I'm on my period Santiago!" Samantha shouted back to the vampire.

In the nine months since she's left La Push, Samantha went back to Seattle but instead of living in the house with Derek and the rest like she use to, she got herself an apartment for her and Dani. The young vampire was still shy and sincere with herself when it came to being around with Dylan and the pack. With Samantha it was different, the vampire saw the hybrid as a sister to her. Samantha understood her more then she understood herself.

That and because Samantha didn't smell like wet dog.

"We're going to be late!" Dani whined.

"I'm going, I'm going," Samantha dashed out of her room and was now outside of her apartment where Dani had been waiting for her for the past ten minutes.

"Took you long enough," Dani scoffed as she crossed her arms and leaned against the wall that was behind her.

Sending the vampire a playful glare, Samantha locked the door,"Shut up." Without being said, the two sprinted towards the elevator.

Once they got in, Dani began to pant heavily. "Man I'm out of shape," Dani huffed causing the teenager, whose she've grown to love, beside her to laugh.

"So," Dani carried out the Oh's. "You graduate in two days Sammy!"

Even though Samantha was technically a Junior, her grades were outstanding, minus her behavior, the shook she was enrolled with now gave her the choice to either graduate next year with her actually class or graduate with the seniors this year. Since Samantha didn't want to be in hell anymore, she took the second offer. So here she was getting ready to graduate in two days. Just two more days and she was done with school.

"Thank god. I'm sick and tired of having to deal with these bitches that are my so called piers."

"Nathalya isn't so bad," Dani's voice drifted off when she noticed Samantha giving her a glare.
