"All around me are familiar, worn out places, worn out faces." I sang my favorite song while brushing out my hair. "Bright and early for their day races, going nowhere, going nowhere."

"And their tears are filling up their glasses, no expression, no expression. Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow. No tomorrow, no tomorrow." Continuing to sing, I straightened my hair. After, I threw on a shirt and jeans.

I grabbed my phone, and took it off the charger, before heading downstairs. Making my way into the kitchen, I was greeted by everyone but my dad. Shocker. Maria and Tristan smiled at me, I waved at them, "Heyyy" I said smiling over at Mason and Adam.

"Hey beautiful." A deep voice said from behind me, startling me half to death. I turned to see Michael, standing behind me, I rolled my eyes and hit him in the arm. "Aye, what was that for?" My best friend pouted giving me an innocent.
"For scaring me almost to death. Idiot." I glared at him, grabbing an apple from the bright orange colored bowl. The apple was quickly snatched from my hand by Maria.

"Chloe made waffles, there over there." Maria said, pointing to the plate of waffles. I smiled at her, silently thanking her. Heavy footsteps where heard, all of our heads turned to the doorway. Surprisingly, my dad walked in the room.
He didn't look at me though. Wow, big shocker there. "Good morning, sunshine." Tristan said playfully to my dad. He, my dad, growled under his breath slightly. Maria sighed as my dad grabbed about 3 waffles, putting them on a plate. Still avoiding eye contact with me. Nothing new.

Feeling brave, I walked over in front of the doorway. Standing there blocking my dads exit, wanting him to look at me. He only gave me a stern glance, "dad, look at me." I said softly. Yet I was denied, and growled at.
"Move." He ordered, I crossed my arms.
"Look at me!" I growled stubbornly, he wouldn't budge.

"Evaline Elizabeth-"
"Look at me! Why won't you look at me! Why do you hate me?!?" I shouted cutting him off.

He looked at me and glared at me. "Do not raise your voice to me. Little girl, I'm still your father, rather you like it or not. And I'm your alpha. You will show me respect like everyone else. I expect more from you, Evaline."
I gaped at him, "well, I guess that makes two of us. I would show you respect, if you treated me like your daughter and showed me some. Fathers look at their daughters, but right now all you care about is yourself."

He grabbed me as I was about to walk away. "How dare you! You don't know anything." My dad snarled, "I lost both my parents, and my mate. And all I care about is myself? Huh! I fucking loved your mother more than anything. And now she's dead!" He screamed angrily.
"Now, look at you! Fighting with a daughter you barely even know. Because you never spend time with her!" I yelled angrily. "I don't know why I even call you dad! When you don't act like one." Struggling in his iron grip, he let go.
"Get out of my face, now." He growled, his eyes black. I stood my ground, glaring at him. Michael finally grabbed me, grabbing his sister as well. Rebeccah and Michael pulled me out of the room full of tension.

Sighing as I walked into the doors of hell, known as high school. Well, it wasn't really that horrible, it's just I didn't like it like every one else. Rebeccah smiled at me, standing right next to my locker. "So, this weekend. Mich and I are throwing a party. At a cabin. Of my dad's, and your coming." My best friend grinned evilly.
"Um no. I can't." I said turning away from her; she rolled her eyes and shook her head.

"Or we could drag her out of the house mom said we could." Michael said grinning. I shook my head at them, I'm not going to a party this weekend.
"No, I'm sure they didn't say that." I chuckled, they grinned.
"Yes they did." Michael and Rebeccah said in unison with smirks on their faces.
"Fine. What about my dad? What if he finds out you dragged me to a party." Crossing my arms, I raised my eyebrows.
"They got it covered." Mich answered, I groaned and muttered 'fine' under my breath.

Not long after the bell rang loudly, signaling us to class. I smiled taking Rebeccah's arm and walking to class.

The week ended, faster than expected, which was not a good thing. For most teenagers the weekend coming fast was a good thing. But for me, not so much, I was getting dragged to a party with dumb teenagers. Not that I'm perfect, or not a teenager, I am a teenager. Just less dumb than the average teenagers at a party, smarter than the ones who give into drugs and alcohol.

That's why I hate parties, teenagers normally get sucked in by per pressure or temptation. They smoke, drink and make terrible decisions, I promised myself I won't be one of those. I'm going to be someone someday, someone he will notice.

Rebeccah and mich successfully dragged me out the door with help from their parents. To be completely honest I'm nervous, a nervous wreck, because I don't like parties. And I don't wanna get caught, especially by my dad. Let's just say, I had a very bad feeling about tonight.
