Just finished writing in my diary. I was writing about what I had found in the attic. I lay here, covered in my thoughts, 'what am I going to do?' I ask myself, 'How do I get out of this mess?' I wonder. I have friends at school, but will any of them understand? will they help me? I can't go to my brother because he's already changed into something he's not. *BUMP!** BUMP!*. I can hear what would usually be small bumps loud! I quickly roll over and pretend to be asleep. As I hear the door slowly but loudly open, my brother steps in. "Telly" He whispers, "Telly" he whispers louder. I don't answer, or even make the slightest movement. He gives up, turns around walks out and closes the door as slow as before. I open my eyes and look around, I see the Eminem poster that sits on the back of my door. I stared at it until I could feel my eyes slowly close...in that moment I felt safe in my dreams.

I heard footsteps walking away from the attic. Assuming it was my sister, I got out of my nice, neat, warm bed, in an attempt to catch her. I slowly walked to her bedroom where her door was shut. I slowly but quietly opened the door. I walked in. "Telly" I whispered, "telly" I whispered louder. I had no response. I walked out of her room closing the door behind me. I walked back to my room thinking it could have been mom that went up to the attic. But she never goes up there unless it's for a ceremony and telly isn't old enough yet. I was finally back in my nice warm bed and closing my eyes for sleep.
I woke up quickly realising I had slept through my alarm. I grabbed my jacket and ran to Telly's room. "Telly!" I yelled. No response. "Telly!" I yelled louder. "What!" She screamed, "get up and get ready for school before your late!" I demanded. Running down to the kitchen to make Telly's lunch for her while she gets dressed. "Hurry up" I yelled. "Gezzs I'm coming" she yelled back. She came downstairs and ran out the door to my car. Following close behind was me pulling the door shut behind me. I drove as fast as I could out of the driveway and headed straight to Telly's school. "Tom can ask you something?" Telly said, "yeah what is it sweety?" I asked, "what is this ceremony that I have to......." Telly was cut off by me stopping the car as fast and hard as I could. "HOW DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THAT?"
