THE PRINCESSES' TIMES
once upon a time there were three daughters of the late king of carpetlandia. One day they decided to purchase bird to fill the absence in their hearts that was left behind. They all made a pact together to share the responsibility of caring for the bird equally. A few years passed and the sisters were still abiding by the pact until the oldest sister found herself a lover. The other two sisters still took care of the bird until the second oldest sister found a prince from a faraway kingdom and eloped with him. The last and youngest sister was left to take care of the bird. She slipped into depression and neglected to care for the bird until a peasant came and swept her off her feet. They married and left to live with the oldest sister and the bird was left to live out its days in the dark shadows of the empty castle. The bird soon died from lack of food and till this day you can hear the cry of the bird calling "Polly wants a cracker, Polly wants a cracker."
