Bianda sat by the pool, her feet in the water. Maurishio was nowhere in sight. Another guy came and sat next to Bianda and bumped her fist with his own. She smiled widely as they talked animatedly about Sara.
Mia appeared out of nowhere, rolling her right shoulder.
"Damn girl, lucky we heal quick cause -" Mia was about to say before she stopped and observed the newcomer.
"Who is this?" She asked with a polite smile. Mia's guard was slightly raised, but if he was a friend of Bianda, then he couldn't be that bad. After all, Bianda did have telepathy... and a very easy temper.
But someone could possibly get past Bianda's guard. Maybe, maybe not.
"Oh sorry. Mia, this is Chris." Bianda said with a broad smile. He looked up and offered a fist. Mia bumped it with slight waryness.
Chris had ashy blonde hair, almost a dusty brown. He had toned muscles, not heavily like Suhaileo or Maurishio. Just enough to make him look like he could fight to defend himself or something that belonged to him. It looked like Bianda and Chris had already become best friends, maybe even closer than Bianda and Maurishio were. Mia wondered if that was possible.
"Where's Maurishio?" Mia asked.
"I don't know. He's probably taking his anger out on a few trees. Menopause. Hey what's up with your shoulder?" Bianda asked, obviously annoyed with Maurishio.
"Oh I don't know... maybe it's because you threw me into a tree!" Mia said a bit loud.
"Ahhhh! You can scream it in real life, but please don't scream it in your head. You'll give me a headache." Bianda said covering her ears.
Jessania came out then, JD holding her hand.
Bianda rolled her eyes, got up and walked towards the forrest.
"What's up with her?" Jessania asked, pointing to the disappearing Bianda.
"Just something Maurishio did." Chris answered. Mia's mouth popped open. He knew Maurishio? And he knew what had happened between them? Mia felt a little sulky.
Bianda didn't tell her that much. Maybe she didn't feel like talking to Mia about it.
Mia was about to ask how Chris knew Maurishio before there was a agonizing howl from the woods. The sound was heart breaking and Mia knew who it was. She hadn't heard it more than once, at least. It was Bianda's, and she was hurt deeply.
