Chapter 1- Promises (Bella POV)

I lie there with my husband thinking about how great my life is. How it's already been four amazing years since I have married my Edward. Four years since I have given birth to the most beautiful baby girl. Four years since my life started, and I was born into the life I was meant for. And four years ago, Edward and I started with forever.

"Bella, love, Renessemee is starting to stir in her sleep. Should I go check on her?"Edward asked, breaking me from my daze.

"No, that's ok. I will see her." I replied, leaping off the couch. I walked to my daughters room and quietly opened the door. She started talking in her sleep.

"No! Please don't!" She exclaimed. I lightly shook her, hoping to wake her from her nightmare.

"Nessie, wake up honey." I told my sleeping child. I glanced up at her alarm clock. It read 5:56. She would be waking up soon anyways.

Renessemee then woke up and started rubbing her eyes. "Mama?" She called. I guessed it was to dark for her to see so I reached over an turned her lamp on.

"Yes baby, it's me." I told her. "It's time to get up!" She sat up in her bed and yawned. Her slightly messy bronze curls cascaded down her back.

"Ok Mama." She said, pulling the covers back and standing out of bed. I too stood up, as she reached for my hand.

We walked into the living room where Edward waited. "Good morning Nessie!" He greeted her, picking her up and hugging her.

"Good morning daddy!" She giggled, as he set her to her feet. "What's on the agenda for today?" Nessie asked her father.

"Auntie Alice has planned out the whole day for you and your mother." Edward replied to his daughter. What? Alice hadn't told me about any of this. Maybe it was last minute. Or a surprise?

Edward took in my expression and chuckled. "Bella it's okay! You and Ness will be alone the whole day. Alice just thought it would be good for you two to have a day together."

"Well that was thoughtful." I told him.

"YAYYY!" Renessemee squealed. "A day for just me and you, mama!"

"I know! Go get ready and we will go back to the main house. I told my daughter.

"Okay mama!" She answered, skipping back to her bathroom. I then could hear her shower run and her humming a tune that had recently been on the radio.

I turned to Edward to see him smiling, and looking at me. "What?" I asked him.

"Nothing. I was just thinking about you and Renessemee..." He trailed off, smiling. I took a few steps closer and wrapped my arms around him, burying my face in his chest. He kisses my forehead and wraps his arms around me.

"Thank you." I told him.

"For what?" He looked down at me, confused.

I smiled up at him. "For being here. For putting up with me, and keeping your promise."

"What promise, love? He asked.

"You remember. On our wedding day. You said we would start with forever and four years later here we are, and you still love me."

He laughed. "Bella I will always love you. And you will be mine forever." He said, and once again dazzling me. He brought me in closer and forced his lips to mine. If I was still human my heart would have already burst through my chest.

I pulled back gently from Edward. "I need to get ready." I told him.

"Okay." He smiled back at me.

I went to our room and opened the massive closet. 'What will I wear today?' I asked myself. I walked over to my dresses and looked around. Even though I didn't like dressing up, I figured I would make Alice happy for today. I picked out a summer looking dress that was red with white polka dots on it, that came up to my knees. I picked out white flats to go with it, they were pretty cute.

I walked over to my jewelry box and opened it. I picked up my red earrings and put them in, along with a few silver bracelets. I went to the bathroom and did my hair and make up. Once I was satisfied with how I looked, I went to check on Nessie.

I knocked on her door. "Come in!" She responded. I walked on to find her doing her hair. She was wearing a cute little yellow sundress with blue flowers on it, and bright blue tights under it. She looked absolutely beautiful.

"Oh Ness!" I exclaimed, running to her.

"What?" She said looking down at what she was wearing.

"You look beautiful!!!" I said walking to her jewelry box. I handed her little blue rose earrings and a silver bracelet with her name engraved in it.

She blushed. "Thank you, mama! You look pretty too!!" She said to me.

"Are you ready to go?" I asked my beautiful daughter.

"Yes mama, I'm ready." She answered taking my hand, leading me too the living room. Edward was staying home today to catch up on his reading. We met him in the living room and said our goodbyes.

"Goodbye, love. Be safe." He told me.

"I will! I promise." I told him, shutting the front door. Renessemee then grabbed my hand as we started off to the main house.
