Maine.

"Dang. Sorry. Okay! It's just that I'm worried that he might hurt you."

*Dug dug, dug dug*

He is kidding right? There's no way, he'll actually say that. Okay. He said that but I'm nervous that maybe he's just over acting to say those words to me. "Haha. You're kidding right? We've just met!" I shouted.

Hinawakan niya ang kamay ko at hinila para mayakap ako. "Not unless it's love I'm feeling right now, Maine." He whisper through my ear. What is this? Is he confessing?

"We never talk. We never hang out. We never text each other. How can it be love?" I said. He slightly smiled at me and wink.

"Do you believe in destiny and love at first sight? That. Happen to me. To make me love you. Not your apperance now. Your apperance before. You're just simple. Walang kaartehan. Pero no mater how you dress yourself, you're just being simple as what I thought." Sabay hawak ulit sa kamay ko.

*Dug dug, dug dug*

Napahawak ako sa dibdib ko. Ang lakas ng tibok ng puso ko. Well I'm alive, that's why, right? Or not. Agad niyang hinawakan ang parehong pisngi ko at tinanong ako.

"Are you okay, Meng?" He ask softly. I nodded and look away. I'm feeling like a red pepper. And it's so hot in here.

Hinawakan niya ang kanang kamay ko at hinila ako. Dinala niya ako sa isang tahimik na lugar at kaming dalawa lang ang nandoon. Then I started panicking when he hugged me again.

"Uh, Alden? Get off me." Sabi ko sa kanya pero hindi pa rin siya bumibitaw. In fact, mas humigpit ang yakap niya sa akin.

"Just.. give me five seconds, Maine. Please?" He whisper. I felt warm inside and out. Also, it gave me chills.

"I love you, Maine. If you thought you are not perfect, well you are." He said and kiss my forehead.

"Honey! I'm back!" He shouted and kisses my cheek. He kiss his daughter's forehead. I smiled.

"Hey daddy. So mommy, what happend next?" My daughter, Nicarish, ask me. I smiled.

"I confess. Then we started dating and a lot of trials had been accomplish but we, as in now, are still perfectly fine." My daughter smile and hugged the both of us.
