Jason's POV

Everything was ready. It was just as Piper would love it. Let me explain. I was going to propose to Piper.

Around the time when I made the decision to Piper, I heard that Percy was gonna propose to Annabeth. I knew if he proposed and I proposed after, Piper would never believe I got the idea on my own. So I talked to Percy and asked him if he could propose Annabeth after me. He agreed saying that if it helped mine and Piper's relationship.

I was doing last minute checks when suddenly Katie ran up to me with dove I sent Piper in her hands.

"Piper read the letter."

I grinned. This was going to be the best day of her life. I was going to make sure of it.

Piper's POV

I walked towards the dining pavilion. I had a serene smile on my face despite what I was about to do. I met Percy and Annabeth on the way. We chatted about the rumour that Aphrodite was on a mission to get Athena and Apollo to go on a date and become a couple. That's my mom, always making weird matches, believing they are flawless.

I shook my head and entered the pavilion. I made my way to the Aphrodite table. My sisters were busy giving some random Athena girl a makeover. Her face was scrunched up and she kept making excuses to go back to her own table. But they held her firmly.

Gods help my family, I thought.

I suddenly spotted Jason. He waved at me and I waved back. He grinned at me. I returned a smile with less enthusiasm as I knew that those beautiful blue eyes were gonna fill with tears that very night.
