Ross stared into the screen, an online news channel for popular mmos, he also turned a magazine showing the new top inventor, Patrick Topsan the developer of the Alt driver.
"Brother I have practice today so you'll need to make dinner." Carol called out from the hall, "Ross, you in there?" Carol slammed the door open, Ross turned around and shut the door on carol,
"knock first," Ross yelled through the door,
"sorry, I've got practice so make dinner." The sound of footsteps growing fainter, Ross turned back to the computer, the logo for Camias industry, the first to create a full drive MMO, Blade Skills Online. Ross looked at his clock, 12:45, 150 minutes till the opening ceremony. Ross walked downstairs to his kitchen, and pulled out a coke, he checked the time, there was three minutes till opening. He walked up to his room, and took another look at the manual and plugged in the Alt Driver. Placing it over his head he whispered

"Game Start!"Ross looked down, the sandstone bricks looked familiar, but the starting spawn was inventive with pulsating green gems.

Ruby looked at the densely packed forest, the trees stood there, as if they could see what she had done... Then it all came back, Ruby looked around, it was another flashback, she looked at herself, the dress she was wearing was covered with scarlet, the small sound of blood dripping onto the church floor. Thud,  Ruby looked up and just as she saw the man climbing out the window she yelled "Traitor!" She then pulled the knife out of the mess of cake and threw it,
Ruby bolted forward, her heart beating faster then ever.
A notification appeared in the upper left hand corner of Ruby's vision when she tapped it a message came out signaling that there was only ten minutes left until the opening ceremony. Ruby checked the time, then ran into the forest at full speed.

Ross closed the message and jumped to the right. The giant boar was a low class mini boss, and throughout an hour and a half he had managed to almost kill it. Ross turned his head to avoid the nauseating fumes coming off the beast. In doing so the monster charged, unable to run Ross braced himself for the damage but nothing happened. When he opened his eyes he saw the boar directly in front of him, a thin longsword was visible in the muscle of the boat, as it tipped over it dissolved into glass particles. "Hey, you alive over there!" A voice could be heard from behind the rocks, Ross murmured a reply.

"Yeah! I'm good."  Ross stared at where the blade had came from, the green hilt facing towards the hillside.

"What on earth were you trying to do? Get yourself killed!" The man looked at him, now that Ross had a better view he could tell that the man had experience in games.

"I'm sorry just getting a little risky. "
