Embry woke up one morning, he didn't want to get out of bed. He was sooo warm.
"Get your ass down here" his mother called
He got out of bed and walked into the kitchen, his uniform was on the chair and nutella on toast for breakfast. He got dressed and ate his breakfast then he went out side and walked to his bus stop. The bus took five minutes to arrive, and another girl arrived at his stop. He didn't know her name but knew she was a year above him, she got on the bus and Embry followed. She went to the back, but he sat in the middle. The bus lurched forward and then they were off to school. When they finally got to school, Embry went and found his friend Jim. Jim told Embry there was a school assembly, he groaned. He hated assembly's. He went to his class and got a chair, he then walked down to the gym and placed his chair next to Jims and a stranger he didn't know. Halfway through the assembly he heard a *chomp* followed by a scream. He looked around and saw someone eating someone else's arm, he also saw that they pulled there arm away and the man jumped forward and landed on someone else. Suddenly everyone ran screaming and the man jumped from person to person biting them and he landed on a reached and ate them. Embry and Jim ran out the back door and closed it, they then both ran to there year grabbed there bags and hid in a class room.
"What's going on?" Jim asked
"It looked like a zombie" Embry replied
"Then what do we do"
Embry thought.
"Empty your bag" he said
Jim and Embry took everything out there bags, he then went and picked up five more from outside and saw people walking down the school. He was about to call out to them but then one turned into the area where he was and he saw it had blood all over it. He closed the door and took all the lunch out, he put it all into his bag and looked for a weapon. There was none, Jim opened a window and climbed out followed by Embry. They landed in a garden and saw zombies everywhere around it. Embry started to climb the class room, Jim followed and when they were on the roof they walked around and saw no way down.
"Jim we have to get down and run for a bit" Embry said
"No no no no" Jim stuttered "I'm staying here"
Embry shrugged
"good luck and I hope to see you soon" he said
He jumped down and ran to the next building. He climbed it and saw some zombies had saw him and were under him, Embry knew that now he could get around the school as the rest of it was all joined. He ran towards the gate but saw someone in a window, the person saw him and waved. Embry ran to the gate and along the beam to the other side of the school. When he reached the room they were in he climbed on the roof and made a hole big enough for him to fit in, he climbed in and crouched on a second roof. He pulled up a roof tile and saw the person, he was the only one in the room. He called out to him and he turned around. It was a girl, she begged him to help her. Embry told her to get a table and stand on it she still couldn't reach she got four tables and put one on top, but suddenly one of the tables fell down and made a loud crash. She turned around and saw a lot of zombies come towards the window, she jumped on the table and stood on the second. The window smashed and zombies flooded the room, Embry grabbed her arm and pulled her up. She looked into the room and then hugged Embry.
"Thank you so much" she said
"No problem" he said "come on follow me.
Embry walked around to the school car park and saw one zombie, he jumped down and the girl followed him. He saw the zombie about the height of a teacher, he found a wooden stick and smacked the zombie in the head, it turned around and he shoved the stick through it eye. The zombie collapsed and Embry searched it,he found keys. He walked around the car park pressing the unlock button, he found a car unlock and ran to it. It was a big four wheel drive. He jumped in and the girl got in the passenger side, he threw the bag behind him and drove off.
"So... What's your name" he asked
She looked at him and said "Isabella"
Embry drove towards his house. Isabella called out stop, so he slammed on the break and the car stopped. She got out and ran to a house, Embry grabbed his back and followed her.
"We have to get in" Isabella said
"Why" is there food and supplies in there?" He asked
"Yes, we have tents and a lot of food"
Embry smashed the window and climbed in, Isabella followed. She took Embry to where the cupboard was and he filled it with food. Isabella brought out a bigger bag and Embry put everything into the other bag. Isabella brought out an axe and pistol.
"My dad is a cop" she said "do you know how to use this"
Embry picked up the gun and axe, he put the gun in his bag and gave the axe back to Isabella. Embry looked all through the house and found a four person tent. He put it into his bag and then went out front, he put the bag in the back and hoped in the drivers seat. Isabella came out after a while and sat in the passenger seat.
"Let's go" she saidl
Embry drove off. After seven minutes of driving he stopped again. This is my house, he got out the car and got his spare key out, and went inside. They both looked around, and Embry went to his dad's room and grabbed his cos play sword, it was really sharp. There wasn't much else to grab, so they looted the entire pantry. Embry then got back into the car, followed by Isabella.
