GLIPSES of how Canada worked: a writers memoirs written by @WandaS
---Description---
During my journalistic career in the second half of the 20th century, plenty of good jobs of all kinds were available in all parts of Canada. Those of us born in the 1930's and early 40s were especially in demand because our generation was very small hen Canada began its post-was boom. I earned very good money working mainly freelance at home or in the offices of clients. GLIMPSES... is the story of all the stories my work involved: who, what, when, where, why, and how of the people I met, our attitudes, my networks, lessons, mistakes, many good times and some bad ones. I hope to reveal the 'feelings'of the years from 1950s to about 2000s, and to provide perspective on why they were the way they were, and perhaps how they led to Now.
---End of description---Me, being a Canadian, fell in love with this book. I learned so much, and I really hope some of you will venture into the serious Canadian past we all must know.
